I don't want you to miss out on this great giveaway! Now on to our guest.
This week I am delighted to introduce you to my friend, Jill Cooper of Whimsey Creations. (she also goes by Untie the Ribbons on my blogroll) Jill has been following my blog for a while and recently sent me a wonderful surprise in the mail. Have I ever told you how much I love mail? Looooooooove it! Jill sent me this!
Vintage linen! Look at the date! Oh my gosh! How darn cool is that! She said the linen was from an old linen sheet. One day I would love to have a set of linen sheets. Do any of you have them? She also sent those adorable little acorn charms and the 3 pieces of vintage trim. She told me she thought I could use these in my creations. Right now all I want to do is touch them! The linen is sooooo soft. I know I'll make something special though and actually, I think I might make myself a keepsake journal. Ya'll know how much I loooooooove linen!
Jill loves folk art, rug hooking, dolls and dogs. She has rescue dogs that are adorable and her husband's name...Jack! No kidding! Here are some of Jill's wonderful creations.
When I first met Jill in blogland this is what I saw. Ya'll know I love critters and this turtle was just too cute!
This piece reminded me of a label on one of my favorite wines called, Our Dog Blue. It's a nice white table wine.
These dogs crack David and me up as years ago we use to watch a cartoon called, Two Stupid Dogs. The minute I showed this photo to David he said, "hey, two stupid dogs." Told ya we were big kids!
OK... she's just funny. I think her lips make me laugh more than the shoes!
I think these are some pretty cool cats! This is a gorgeous rug hooking!
I do hope you will hop over and visit with Jill and see more of her art. Tell her I said hi!
Have a fun and artful day!
Meeting adjourned.

Especially that cat rug.. What beautiful colors...........
A lovely gift! I love Jills' fun art - just going to pay her a visit!
Michelle I just love your gift. The week I was at home a friend gave me some fabric and lace that was her mother-in-laws...she had recently passed away. Some of the fabric was Liberty of London cotton lawn (sp?), and no telling the date because they are the sweet small prints that they do/did so well for many years. Some of the lace was from France, Belgium and Switzerland! I'd love to share some of the lace with you if you don't mind sending me your address. I won't be home till October but I'll send you some then. blessings, marlene
What a lovely gift! And lovely blogger - she has a great sense of humor!
AAaaaahhhhhhhhhh ... great cup of coffee in my big fuzzy slippers! How can some people be so darn creative? I can't even flavor my coffee right!
