I went to Wilmington, NC yesterday with my friend Lyd. I love Wilmington and could move there tomorrow. Lyd and I go on a little shopping adventure twice a year. I refer to it as "Country Come to Town." hee, hee, hee.
My budget this year was pretty slim, but I still had the best time. I found this cutie little cream and sugar bowl in Home Goods. It was only $6.00 for the set! Of course it's white. You knew it would be. ;)
I've also been busy up in Bunnyville on a new stitchery design. You know I love empty frames for inspiration. This frame is in my dining room. I start my "doodle" process and then tape the design on the frame. Then I walk by it for a few days and adjust elements in my doodle. Once it is to my liking, I make the final pattern. This piece will be called "Baroque Bouquets." It will be a 16" x 20" piece. I think you will enjoy making this elegant piece and maybe it would be perfect for your dining room! I'll keep you posted as work progresses.
Here is one of my favorite bunnies that was given to me by my old boss about 13 years ago. He and I both decided that Valdani JP 12 will be the best floss color for this piece. I can hardly wait to show you!
Have a fun day!
hugs and friends,
shell

The cream and sugar bowls are so very pretty. Very good deal for only $6.00! I can see why Mr. bunny is your favorite. The Valdani floss has so many great colors! It makes it difficult to chose! :0)
Darling creamer & sugar set! Do you happen to already have the matching dishes? Love your pristeen white home! Did I spell that word correct?! Check my blog and see what my goofy hubs made! You'll think it's a hoot, just like him! Anyways, love reading about your bunnies....used to raise REAL alive ones til during the night years ago a pack of wild.....don't want to get into this story...still brings tears to my eyes....keep up the wonderful pics!
Michelle, thanks for being such an inspiration. My dad has been in the hospital for 19 days. I have done the February and March free designs plus Rocco Roses Number 1 while he has been in surgery. Working with my hands has help the time go by and the worry to ease. Thank you for bringing a little sunshine into some very dreary days. Now what should I do next...Rocco #2 or wait for the new desgin. How about both? You'll have my order soon.

Shell, what a lovely set of white creamer and sugar bowl, I am looking for more whites too. Your stitchery will look so wonderful in the frame, I love the doodles, they are a work of art themselves!!!!
I read the previous post and was touched by the heartfelt comment, you have inspired so many people and I know I am a better person for knowing you!
Thanks sweetie!!!
Hugs,
