Empty Frames, Open Inspiration, Simple Beauty

A lot of people crack up when they come to my house and see empty frames hanging on the wall. I'm always drawn to a beautiful frame. To me they are artwork by themselves, so I'm never in a hurry to fill them.

Plus, an empty frame provides me with open inspiration. I think you will really love my next stitchery design. Hint, hint, hint.

Kinda reminds me of what maybe Glenna's (EyeofTheNeedle) house looks like with partially completed cross-stitch work here and there! I've always wondered if she ever finishes any - she always has so many in work!

But then, we have bunnies too - and we rarely get anything done either.

I love empty frames. I have wanted to do a wall vignette. Paint the frames the same color as wall and display. I love your vignette with the beautiful white pitchers.
Have a Great Week,

It is amazing how something can really look so great just the way it is. I will look forward to see what you put in them or leave them just like they are which is very pretty. Take care.

I love empty frames too Michelle...I have a whole hallways full of antique white ones that were my nanny's and I think they are lovely like art pieces all on their own. A friend once asked what the point of that was and if I was going to fill them and that her husband would never understand her hanging empty frames! I said I don't know I might fill them but I have them up because they are beautiful and they make me happy and remind me of my nanny, good enough reason to me...now I plan to try adding onto the empty frame hallway with other old empty frames...though I do have a tendency to paint them white...looks like you prefer the white ones too, ha ha....great tastes adore alike:D
