As always, I'm in utter amazement with the talent of people in the quilt and textile world. This year's festival was no exception. While I loooooove all kinds of quilts and appreciate the hard work that goes in them, I tend to photograph those quilts that speak to me. I'm going to start you off with a little eye candy from an awesome woman named Gloria Loughman.
Her use of color is incredible. This quilt actually made me feel like I was being warmed by the sun.
Don't forget to register for the giveway. See the previous post!

Shell, these are incredible. Thanks for sharing them. I wasn't familiar with her, and went to check out her website, which has even more amazing stuff. Lucky you, to see it in person!
Absoultely Beautiful! I love the colors too!
Those are gorgeous -- I particularly am taken by the last one in the series you showed. Stunning!!
WOW. That is some unbelievable work. Her use of color is unbelievable.
I've always wanted a nice quilt, and kind of always thrown around the idea of making one myself, but I'm not prepared to make that kind of time commitment right now.
Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed your pictures. I was there too. Didn't get to spend but a couple hours there on Thursday. Was sure I'd get back but didn't.
My sister and I went too - wasn't the work amazing?
I've posted a few pics on my blog and have lots more to share.
