More from the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival

I though I would show you a few more pictures from the festival. This is just a block on a quilt, but of course I loved the Alice in Wonderland rabbit. Went to see the movie on Sunday and loved that too!

These bees were incredible! Look a the piecing and applique on their bodies!

This turtle was just precious. The fabrics were part of the Hoffman challenge. All the pieces below were also part of the Hoffman challenge. I really liked the fabric this year.

Totally loved this purse called Pursley! How cool is that!

Loved this purse too! Still working on my art purse. Never enough hours!

This is the doll that won first place. Isn't she adorable. I love her face.

Hope ya'll have a fun day.
Hugs and friends,
Shell

The doll is gorgeous! And yes, Alice, Alice everywhere!!! I haven't seen it yet but really want to.

There's a bunny in my newest painting which makes me think of you, so I stopped by to say hi.

Hi.

Hi Shell
Those quilts are something wonderful. I used to belong to a quilting group, years ago but haven't quilted since. I still have 3 quilts unfinished :)
That doll face is adorable-was it painted on fabric?
Blessings to you today

Shell, I am so glad you stopped by for a visit & THANK YOU for you sweet words for my heartbreaking loss of precious Reba. You are an animal lover so I KNOW you KNOW the pain of loosing a best friend.

The photos from the show are wonderful. I love that doll. Her face is amazing. So many art dolls have scary faces but, hers is beautiful. HUGS!

Thanks for sharing the awesome pictures. I can really understand why the doll won 1st place. She is so pretty. They are having what they call a traveling quilt show here. I would really like to go, but it is not handicap assessible where they are having it so I won't this time. Unfortunately wheel chairs don't go every place. You take care and have a wonderful day.
