This is the last flower in our series.
Here's how it looked before I stitched it.
I don't know why, but I think it has a 1950's vibe. What do you think?
Those of you who participated, did you keep up? Are you behind? How far are you behind?
I think this was a fun adventure for me. It kept me creating something new each and every week. I'm doing something on a personal note for the new year. You won't get to see it until 2016. Sometimes an artist just has to have some private moments with art. I'm using 2015 to hear myself again.
We've been busy little bees this year.
We have made bell pulls
and table mats
and pillows
and candle mats
and gift bags
and post cards
and brooches
and needle keeps
and snack mats and more
mats and more
mats and
bee keepers with our
pincushions
and table stands for friends
and decorative little table mats again!
Next week will be our grand finale project. I sincerely hope you have enjoyed your journey with me and the bunnies as much as we have enjoyed our journey with you.

OK, first of all, yes, there is a 1950s color theme in that first design...and a taste of strawberry pie. YEP, that is what it "tastes" like to me! And the rest of the designs my friend, they remind me of the entire year. That darling bee reminds me of our summer. The other designs bring back great moments visiting you all through 2014. YOU are gorgeous and I just want to thank you for always being a great blogger pal.

Shel, I just love looking at your work! I've been away from quilting for a while now. I even, gasp, sold my Bernina 1630 this year!!! I am newly discovering hand stitching along with a little help every now and then from my new best friend - Maggie, a 1914 Singer hand-crank sewing machine. It is mind boggling how lovely the stitching is from a machine that is 100 years old!!! OK, I don't have access to machine made fancy stitches but there is always embroidery! I am just so tired of technology I am trying to narrow down the areas I use it in... sewing/quilting is one place! I don't know if I will ever make as beautiful stitches as you do but you give me the inspiration to try! :D
