I saw this photo somewhere...so sorry I can't remember where. I think a magazine. I've had it a while. It inspired me in a new stitchery design. A phrase my Grandfather use to say went perfectly with this. It's almost time for Christmas in July. I promised myself I would start in July this year and I'm keeping that promise!
More to come...

Lady Hannah Goldenhare - Nothing Gold Can Stay
Hello dear friends, It's been a minute hasn't it? My last post was over a year ago. I decided I wanted to stay in my bubble where it...

Ok, so I know I should be thinking about Christmas and all the festivities etc., but I can't help it. I'm eagerly skipping ahead to ...

Good for you Shell! I was thinking the same thing. I don't want to be knitting or creating so close to Christmas this year!
I'm looking forward to what you come up with! Something beautiful I'm sure! Hugs, Christine
Hi Shell, I think we all have some of the same ideas of starting early this year. I have so many things I want to do. Your furry friends look like they had lots of fun in your previous post. We got a lot of rain last night. Part of the city has flood water including one of the city's facilities. I laugh at that one. I am reading blogs tonight while I take a change of scenery as the saying goes. Hope you are having a good week. Take care Your Missouri Friend.
But, But, But .... we still haven't answered the cards from year before last! Oh bother. Let's keep this from BL - she does not like Christmas.
It is going to be a pretty one though!
Hi Shell,
Great idea, and love the cozy picture you have shared. We have often celebrated with a midwinter Christmas dinner parties with family and friends in winter.
As you know Christmas in NZ is our summer, so it is not cold.
Hope that you are having a lovely week
Hugs
Carolyn
I neve start early enough!! Thanks for the reminder
What a beautiful room!!!
Beautiful photo of a gorgeous room. I love Christmas in July as here we are able to indulge in all the lovely tradional Christmas fare which is just to hot to enjoy here in our Summery Christmas time.
It's too hot, I can't think Christmas!!!! I should because I hardly have anything, I will see how warm it is next week LOL. Linda x
Saturday, June 25th, was LEON Day - which is a real holiday somewhere - and it marks six-months until Christmas. It is NOEL spelled backwards. I did not know this until last Friday when someone sent me a Happy LEON Day greeting. So everyone should take note, it is not too soon to start!! Judy C in NC
I'm so intrigued!
Thinking Christmas in July does make December less frantic.
What a gorgeous room! I can see how it would inspire you but I am curious as to what it inspired!!
Christmas in July is a great idea as it gets so busy. I putter at it usually starting about then but I think I got at it a little earlier this year though. I don't want a repeat of last Fall when I missed out on the peaceful quiet part of the Christmas season.
Did you say Christmas..? nice photo...x
Edge of my seat stuff...what ARE you up to?? ;-)
It will be gorgeous, no doubt!
Hugs
