Happy Friday everybun! Did you have a good week? Happy 4th of July weekend to all our friends in the USA! Yipeee!!!
So our dear friend, Captain, gave the bunnies a present. A sweet willow tunnel. They both love it and kick each other out of it, fighting for optimal tunnel time. I don't know why it is...well, yes I do...I'm a dorkwad with an overactive imagination, but when I see Hannah laying in it like this..
And then I see Harrington laying in it like this...
It makes me think of those cocktail weinies wrapped with cresent rolls that look like this!!!
Pigs, um I mean buns in a blanket. However, I'm a vegetarian, so no buns were injured or snacked upon in this photo shoot! (yes, the carpet is different, but that is another story! oy!)
Happy Friday everybun! Have a wonderful weekend! Happy 4th of July!

Sneaky Peeky's from my drawing board
It seems like a ton of ideas have multiplied like bunnies lately! I have some major deadlines coming up with the workshop I'm teaching in September. It will be here before I know it.
I decided to set aside a few hours each day to get my designs out of my head and on paper. Well, the first one I actually got onto wool. hee, hee, hee. Enjoy these sneaky peeky's!

Don't forget, I now carry lots of fun Woolfelt in my SHOP. :)
A little stitchery for Christmas
A stitchery with a fun quote on it.
A design to be used one of my Folk Art Fusion pieces
And finally another design for a Folk Art Fusion piece.
Please forgive me if I haven't been around blogland much. I'm just really swamped with orders, working a few odd jobs, and getting ready for the art festival. I've asked the bunnies to help me, but Hannah can't make up her mind on fabric and well...you can see what Harrington does. He tells me it's not in his job description. Lazy bunny!

A little holiday inspiration
I saw this photo somewhere...so sorry I can't remember where. I think a magazine. I've had it a while. It inspired me in a new stitchery design. A phrase my Grandfather use to say went perfectly with this. It's almost time for Christmas in July. I promised myself I would start in July this year and I'm keeping that promise!
More to come...

Happy Friday! A good time was had by all...
"Harrington? How much trouble do you think we're gonna be in when Mama see's all this mess?"
"Oh Hannah, you worry too much. I'll simply tell Mama we were having an employee appreciation party. She'll be fine."
"Well, I think I might try to clean up a little. Why don't you come help me?"
"Dag nab it! I forgot I can't work the the ding dong vacuum! It's pointless! We're doomed! Doomed I tell ya! We probably won't get our banana chip bonus!"
"Ok lazy toad boy. Get out of there! It's my turn to hide in the tunnel!"
"Hmmph! Go find your own hiding spot Hannah... That one makes your butt look big!"
Happy Friday everybun! Have a great weekend! It looks like I'll be cleaning up from the employee appreciation party. A special thanks to our dear friend, Captain, for providing the party spot in the ton o fun bun run! Indeed a good time was had by all! ;)

Ok, so maybe I'm just having lots of fun with my Folk Art Fusion and had to create another piece in a different color scheme.
Maybe it's because I'm now carrying wool felt in my SHOP. Yippeee!!
And maybe it's because I have more ideas in my head than I can seem to hop out! Hang on to your hats my friends. We're getting ready to have some fun!!

Happy Fathers Day!
On Mother's Day last month I posted about this new family in my neighborhood. Little bitties of fuzzy cuteness.
Well, here we are on Father's Day and the kids sure have grown! They're in the awkward teenage stage and look rather homely.
They have also successfully trained my neighbor and me to buy bread and feed them every night. They come running up the yard squeeking, wings extended and happy as all get out!
"Hey lady, toss some to Pops back here!"
"Darn, is that all we get today? Dag..." Stomp, stomp, stomp
They're spoiled just like two little bunnies I know. ;)
Happy Father's Day Oliver! Love you!

Folk Art Fusion
I've been developing my "Folk Art Fusion" technique for quite some time now. It combines my love of applique, stitching and the simplistic fun of folk art. Instead of having a solid background, I have a fused, textured background. This is a small piece that I just finished. I think it looks great on that hanger. :)
I will be teaching this technique locally in the Fall. I have also been invited to give a lecture on this technique to a quilt guild in Winston Salem, NC. I'm over the moon excited about both opportunities! I truly enjoy teaching and sharing with others. I taught quilting for ten years until the local shop closed. I sure have missed it. I'm looking forward to bringing something new to the quilting and stitching world.
Soon I will be carrying wool pieces in my Shop, so stay tuned!
Hope your week is going good so far! Don't forget to register for my giveaway on the post below! :)
