This adorable cottage is one of my favorites. It's located in my favorite place, Wilmington, NC. I visit Wilmington as much as I can. It's about an hour and a half from me. Every time I go, I drive into this neighborhood to
I like to imagine I live there. The bunnies and I would work in Bunnyville and look out the window to all the happenings of the neighborhood.
I also imagine having a magical little picket fence, like my dear friend, Jeri Landers, of Hopalong Hollow. Isn't this the most beautiful fence? Ahhhhhhh. Apparently, I have fence envy as well. hee, hee, hee.
But, alas I live in my own little cottage in a different town. So until I can live in that cottage in Wilmington, (positive thinking here) I simply use it's charm to inspire me. This is my "Little Houses No. 2" You can stitch one too. My pattern is in my SHOP here.
So, are you a house stalker too?
xx,
Michelle and the Bunnies

teeeheheheeeeee...YES.
That is how we got the LOOK of RABBIT HILL, our home and property. Our house now is the dream cottage I always wanted. When we first purchased the home, it had good bones that could be seen UNDER the ugly awnings, plastic storm doors and lack of gardens. But over the many years, we have added on, landscaped ourselves, added handmade cedar shutters and now the place is brimming with charm. But if we had not looked at all the other charming cottages in our neighborhood, we would have never been able to pinpoint and focus on our style. KEEP GOING MY DEAR! You will get your dream cottage one day, whether it is in the transforming of your current home or the purchase of another! Anita
Oh, I think we all have that 'little cottage' in our mind.
House stalker? Let's just say you don't want to ride with me when I drive!
Happy Monday!
It's fine to stalk other people's houses, as long as you don't see anyone taking down your license number! lol
I love your newest design. Already busy in the new year. (Me, too! Whew!)
Hugs from FL, my dear.

Hello Michelle,
I would like to wish you and your family a Very Happy and Healthy New Year.
Love the cottage. It is very unique and I especially love the gardens. So neat and tidy.
Your new stitchery is lovely as is all your creations.
I have always "Dreamed" of having a Mural Wool Fence with a beautiful Wildflower Meadow, stream, birds, butterflies and etc. My Sweetie is designing the graphic now to paint it this Spring. Dreams do come true just like your lovely business. Hugs Judy
Gosh I would have fence envy too - that is adorable & prefect for you & the buns. I do online stalking of country cottages over in Tasmania & Victoria. One day it will happen too. I love your stitchery! Tracee xx
Not quite a stalker, but do love to look for examples when changes are needed! Recently when a roof was needed, or yesterday when I saw an OLD commercial building had been refaced with "stone." Wouldn't that look SO much nicer than vinyl? We can dream, can't we?
Oh, very definitely. There is an early 1900's house in my home town that I still drool over to this day. It's recently been donated to the city, so it will be preserved for posterity (I hope). So, I can go on imagining I live there for a few more years! But, yes, I also go out driving and looking at houses just for fun. I'll be so glad to tell my husband that someone else does that too!
It's so nice to know that I'm not alone - I thought I was just the weird one. I love looking at houses and imagining who lives there and what kind of lives they have. And I'm a fence person too! LOL
Hehehe you have to get your ideas from some where,xx Rachel
O dedo polegar com o indicador(em sinal de ok)traga para junto o dedo medio,aperte,depois o dedo anelar e junte fazendo um montinho;daí é só mentalizar:QUERER, PODER E CONSEGUIR.Fácil!Boa sorte!!!!!
Oh how I want that fence, lol! I want a little red-roofed cottage, myself, and a garden full of hollyhocks. I love your new pattern, Shell, I'm a sucker for cottages!!!
There's a few places I see around here where I start imagining all the things I could do with them. Unfortunately, I never get to see the inside, so I'll never know if I was right.
I think I am....I love looking at charming houses and fences too.
I totally believe in the power of positive intention and believe one day you will live in the cottage of your dreams!
Yes, I adore looking at homes and neighborhoods. Your little house stitching is bliss. Creative Hearts are Happy Hearts...
very cute Shell.xx
This design is absolutely beautiful.
yup...only I dream of farms. I dont care much what the house looks like, but imagine wide open spaces under the sky, no neighbors for miles, having all the bunnies and dogs I shake a stick at and goats and donkeys and field of wildflowers with butterflies and birds and a big pond to fish in and have a bunch of crazy chickens pecking at the ground...And Hoppalong Hollow is Heaven on Earth. Forget streets of gold and that. Give me a little farm like that and let me enjoy the green things and weather changing, and all the little heartbeats and buzzing. That is Heaven.
I do like looking at houses too. I have one street in our town that I like to drive down.
Oh, My fence is here! I was checking it the other day for "cracked ears" and see I have a little repair work to do. I have always been a house stalker. I love driving slowly through historic neighborhoods and drooling over the gardens and fences and trellis and EVERY LITTLE THING> Whenever someone drives slowly past our place, I like to think they are enjoying the view as well. Hey, did you get your garden??
Hmm what will you do if it's up for sale one day?
I love old houses, the cuter the better
I stalk one-floor large condos with someone to mow the lawn and a beautiful water view. BL is not yet with the program!
It is a dandy looking place!
I gots to have me one of those little house patterns!! I too love looking at homes and everytime I see one I would love to have, I just think about how grateful I am to have a home at all that I can call my own - with a 700 sq, ft quilt studio in the lower level!! ;-) Woo! Hoo!!
I do this too Shell. I also look for houses all the time online. I imagine a cape cod style on the coast or a adobe in the desert. A villa surrounded by vineyards. It is fun.
Haha, yes I am! There are two or three near here that I would dearly love to wriggle myself into owning but darn it! They just won't move!
I absolutely adore that fence - how cute! I would stalk that fence too....
Oh shell I'm obsessed with house stalking too! Here in the UK we have an amazing website called Right Move that all estate agents upload their stock onto so you can view almost EVERY house for sale in the country! I spend far too much time on this website! (Can't believe I just admitted that).
Yes, I "stalk' houses, and gardens. I live in the desert near the west end of Grand Canyon and I like to see how other folks create their special oasis. How they provide shade and how they garden. When I lived in Philadelphia I was always visiting the colonial neighborhoods. Love those homes! I always keep my eyes open to find small improvements to make my space a little more comfortable.
Oh Shell, most of our houses in the tropics don't have quite the same character as your stalked ones!!! I'd love to stalk with you...they're gorgeous!!!!! That stitchery is just superb...it will be on my list of must haves!!!!
xox sugary hugs
Wendy :O)
