Well, it's the last day of the "Leaf's me Happy" blog hop. Did you have lots of fun? I sure did! Thank you for your lovely comments. I read each and every one and they make me smile so big! This is the last blog hop me and the bunnies will be partipating in for this year, but you can always hop over and visit with Madame Samm at Sew We Quilt for many more hopping adventures!
Before I announce the winner of the table stand, I was wondering if I could get your opinion on a few things? I'm getting ready for my Houston Quilt Market trip, as well as, getting ready for some exciting news and designs to share with you next month.
Questions:
1. Which is more appealing to you? Snowmen, gingerbread men, reindeer, Christmas bells.
2. Do you like to purchase patterns or books?
3. When you purchase a kit, do you like the pattern included in the kit or do you want to purchase it separate?
4. Do you purchase quilt related items as gifts for friends, or do you usually make them something?
5. Do you like small, quick, mini projects that can be done in a few days, or do you prefer to make larger wall hanging projects that may take a month or more?
Thank you for taking the time to answer these. I truly appreciate your opinion.
Ok. Now on to the winner of the Table Stand! Congratulations to Eileen of Designing Quilts! I just reread her comment, and today is her wedding anniversary, so happy anniversary! Email me with your address Eileen and I'll get your prize in the mail to you.
I only have a few table stands left in the SHOP. They are still marked down 15%. Once they're gone, they're gone.
Have a fun day and me and the bunnies will see you right back here on Friday with a sneaky peek of the next Harrington and Hannah block.
xx, Michelle and the Bunnies

Hello dear friends, It's been a minute hasn't it? My last post was over a year ago. I decided I wanted to stay in my bubble where it...

Sometimes...right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives you a fairy tale. I knew it would happen. I knew I would have tears stream...

Continuing on with what to do with your wool felt scraps, I found these adorable little ornaments to make. I love ornaments and love to give...

Ok, so I know I should be thinking about Christmas and all the festivities etc., but I can't help it. I'm eagerly skipping ahead to ...

Reindeer are my favorite, but I love Snowmen and Gingerbread men and Christmas Bells, too.
I like to purchase patterns in books.
Sometimes I like the pattern and kit together. Other times I like the option to just purchase the pattern.
I usually make them something.
I like to have quilck and small projects in my WIP.
Hope this was helpful. Love to the bunnies.
I adore reindeer. I purchase both but more books. I usually make gifts. Kits should have pattern but also available for separate purchase. I don't like big wallhangings so small kits are great.
1.In order of preference - snowies, reindeer, gingerbread, bells.
2. Both - but definitely more patterns
3. Separate
4. Often will purchase as gifts eg kits, tools
5. Both. I finish a big project and then do a couple of little ones. Always have little ones to take when travelling.
Good luck!
I think I like gingerbread men best.
I like books.
I never buy kits since I love putting my own "spin" on things.
I make my friends something.
I like small, quick projects.
Have fun at market!!!
1. snowmen
2. patterns
3. included
4. make
5. small/quick
Wonderful questions, Shell!
1. Being in Australia snowmen just aren't the go, but I LOVE reindeer.
2. books
3. Included
4. prefer to make, but it depends on how much time I have to make them a gift.
5. both...but small ones are excellent as gifts.
Hugs

I like reindeer but snowmen are a close second. I prefer books but do buy patterns as well. I rarely buy kits. I love to make gifts if time allows. I usually work on big projects but a fun small project would catch my eye and that type of kit I would be tempted to buy especially if everything is included cause then I could even use it as a gift for a fellow quilter!
I prefer buy books but also buy patterns.
Ilove snowmens,reinders and christmas bell.
I love big projects and small one to take a break onto the big one.
4.Both
Here isn´t a quilt shop so I do my quilt.
Congratulations to the winner and thank you for hosting.
1. Gingerbread Men
2. I do both
3. I do both
4. I do both
5. I do both
Boy - that wasn't much help! Hugs to BunnyVille!
1. Snowmen, gingerbread
2. books
3. separate
4. kit
5. both
Congrats to the winner! Can't wait to see the new stuff :-)
1. Snowmen and reindeer are tied for first, then bells, then gingerbread.
2. I like to look at books, but rarely purchase because I almost never want enough in a book to buy it...so I purchase patterns. When I do actually purchase books, more often than not, it is in support of the designer, not that I will do many of the projects in it. I love when a designer/seller has a discount off of multiple pattern purchases.
3.Kit, actually, I am probably in the minority here, but I almost never (I seriously can only remember one time and there were three key pieces missing)purchase kits. Since my easiest access to kits is at shows it is difficult (and highly annoying to the seller) to open the kit to make sure it is all there. Along with being leery, I find myself wanting to make it "my own" anyway.
4. I am 50/50 here.
5. Small stuff is much preferred here. I am easily distracted :-)
Hope the answers help! I love your site and your patterns! Waving to Harrington and Hannah!
Congrats to Eileen! Here's my responses to your questions:
1. Snowman or reindeer
2. Patterns
3. Include the pattern in the kit, but also offer the pattern for sale separately, for those who wish to use their own fabric.
4. More often than not, I will make something.
5. I really love a mix of fast and more time consuming projects.
Hope these answers help!
Blessings
1. Gingerbread men.
2. From time to time.
3. I would like it included please :)
4. I do the sewing part :)
5. Small projects.
1. Definitely snowmen
2. I prefer to buy books
3. I don't often buy kits, but I'd never buy one where I had to buy the pattern separately!
4. My friends aren't crafty, so I make them myself
5. both!
Auntie Shell please come by and visit me I have something for you...Hehehe...xx Speedy
Congrats to the winner! Now some answers: santas are more appealing, but aren't included...sad face, so I will go with snowmen; I purchase both patterns and books but find patterns very expensive so prefer reasonably-priced books if there are several patterns included that I will make in the one book; and ebooks please); I prefer a kit that includes fabric and pattern; I usually make quilt-related gifts for friends rather than buy them...but I will buy quilt-related gifts for me! and I like small projects that can be made in a few days/week. Hope this helps!
Congratulations to Eileen and happy anniversary as well! Here are my answers to your questions Michelle:
1) I am very partial to snowmen :O)
2) I prefer patterns to books.
3) I would prefer the pattern be included in the kit.
4) I purchase quilt related items because I can't quilt worth a darn!
5) Mini projects for me because of the reason stated above LOL!
Deb
1)snowmen
2)both
3)both.
4)make them gifts.
5)both.
Hugs,
1. Snowmen

5. small, quick, mini projects are great to do between larger projects.
Have fun in Houston!
Here are my choices. #1 Snowmen, gingerbread and reindeer! #2 Prefer patterns, but sometimes the book gives more options. #3. Yes pattern included with kit. #4 Make my gifts. #5 small quick mini projects. Thanks for asking our opinion!
So the only commenters so far who can't answer the questions are me and a rabbit - Speedy? You have some audience there!
I love Gingerbread men and Christmas Bells.
I like to purchase patterns in books, its neat to have the thread coordinated with it.
I usually make them something.

Good morning Michelle! It is so good to see you flourishing and enjoying your art and that WE ENJOY IT TOO! Hugs to you and the bunnies, Anita

4.Both
5.both
1. Dang, this one is tough...gingerbread bunnies??? ok, seriously...gingerbread men.however, with your unique style, anything would be wayyyyy kyoooot.
2.Patterns. Books are great if you love all the patterns, like Briarside Lane, but if it's a quilty quilt traditional quilt, then just patterns.
3.yes pattern with the kit. but I will always get the pattern regardless. I prefer the pattern over the kits.
4. quilt or craft related items for crafty people. Always afraid someone will judge my work.
5. LOOOOVE small quick projects because I have the attention span of a squirrel and they are far more versatile than large projects. You can have a small pattern and make pillows, blankets, napkins, tea towels...etc etc...
Gingerbread men I have a huge collection and they stay out year round.
books and patterns
never have bought a kit

I have a couple of projects going at the same time for variety

5.I love small, quick projects although I do make the odd large quilt.
Hope that helps Shell. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Christine xx
Hi Shell, I like snowmen, bells, candles, you name it when it comes to Christmas. I like patterns easier to store, I buy most of my supplies as a kit. As you know I do both in size depending on what I want to do. I make gifts at Christmas, there is something about the handmade that makes it more special. I have taken different things and did 5 tea towels while I was at the hospital this past week with hubby. Have a great day. Hugs from Your Missouri Friend.
1. Snowmen...but gingerbread men are a close second!
2. Both...but I prefer books.
3. I like the pattern included.
4. Related items for my friends that quilt and I make things for those that don't.
5. I tend to make larger, longer projects. Of course sometimes they were SUPPOSED to be quick projects and time got away! :-)
1. Gosh ... it's really a toss-up, they're all such fun! I've done a lot of snowmen recently -- gingerbread men (women) sound fun!
2. Yes and no. I love them, but books, in particular, take up space I can't afford to give up in our RV! :)
3. When I do purchase a kit (and it's rare that I do) I *do* want the pattern included.
4. My preference is to make them something, but on occasion I will purchase something, too!
5. I like a mix of both! Short, quick satisfies my desire for instant gratification (LOL!) but I also take satisfaction in a project that's taken time and patience to work!
I think I've been as wishy-washy as one can possibly be in answering...so I'm not sure it was helpful!! :)
and my answers are...
1. Reindeer first but I like bells and snowmen also. I'm not a fan of gingerbread men ~ except for eating:)
2. Yes ~ both.
3. If I were to purchase a kit, I would like the pattern included.
4. I make them something.
5. Small quick projects ~ and sometimes they take me months to finish :)
Wishing you the best for your Houston trip. Looking forward to your news. Sending hugs ~ Jenn
1. Snowmen are my favorite!
2. I like to purchase patterns.
3. I like to buy the pattern separate in case I might already have it.
4. I will do either depending on how much time I have.
5. Small quick projects as I don't have much time.
Hope this helps! Laura
1. Snowmen followed closely by bells
2. I am a book nut, I work a library but I also buy individual patterns, 50/50 I guess.
3. I like having the pattern in a kit but I also like to have the option to purchase the pattern separately.
4. I usually make something
5. I like small projects because my gifts are mostly hand made. I have enjoyed working on block of the month designs lately though.
1. Christmas bells first, then gingerbread men, reindeer, and snowmen.
2. I love to purchase books and keep them handy to read (and drool over).
3. It's great to have the kit and pattern together, so I can remember what the kit is for. LOL
4. I usually make them something.
5. I've gotten into minis and other small projects lately -- quick projects!
1. Snowmen, reindeer
2. Books
3. Pattern included . hate it when you buy a kit then discover there is no pattern with it. By that time I am generally nowhere near to get the pattern without hassle.
4.make something.
5. small projects.
I like Snowmen, I like to purchase books rather than patterns, I like to make gifts for my friends, usually something quick. I like to make gifts for family that may take longer to finish. Nice survey.
Reindeer. Definitely reindeer. With or wothout bunny ears. No opinion on the rest. Hugs!
Snowmen, with reindeers running a close second.
Patterns (although I have a healthy collection of books).
Don't usually buy kits, but when I do, I like the pattern to be included.
Make something. Or I buy from folks at craft fairs (handmade stuff).
Small projects usually. But, if it's a special occasion (like a 50th birthday) then I'll make something bigger like a lap quilt.
