So let me ask ya... What would you do if you woke up on Saturday morning, walked over to the window to open the blinds and found this covering your entire window???!!!
Then you look at the sky and through the trees and it's all misty and foggy!!!
Then a Crow... yes a crow, lands on the bushes and looks at ya. (I couldn't get his picture as he wouldn't quit wiggling and then flew off). Dag!
It's gonna be a great Halloween this year!!!

Hi Shell, I love this weirdo, non scarey tale! :) I think this will be a great Halloween too! OK that spider web is just freaky. But its a work of art too!
I hope you and the bunnies have a hopping good week. Thanks for stopping by and making my day brighter... Big hugs, gail
Yepper, as I posted on my FB page one day, I have flying monkeys and I am not afraid to use them! I have Matilda outside my kitchen door, and Martha is in the basement...I saw her by the furnace, and I figure she can keep the crickets under control...

Aren't you just the cutest in your Halloween hat and glasses? I love your post today!
I wonder what Razzie and Sugie would have thought of the kitty in their yard!

Donna

That spider and his web look very familiar... I think his/her relatives are living by my mailbox. Love your witchie poo hat and glasses.

Shell, I had to laugh at your spider. Two weeks ago, I cleaned two of my windows that had spiders with webs and great big full nest! I wonder what that says about the upcoming winter. It must mean something! I'll have to research it and see. Hugs, Tedi www.PetiteBookstore.com/blog
p.s. Love the outfit ;-)
Shell, I love your hat and glasses. You look too cute! That spider and his little friends. . well not too cute but it is kinda cool. I'm with you. I think it's a sign of a fun Halloween on the way! Wishing you a good week with not so big spiders.
hugs,
Carrie

I love spiders webs, incredible to think that something so small could produce something so intricate.
I am reallllyyy sccccared of the witch, lol.
We were quite frightened by that spider! But, it was good practice for Halloween. What a great looking witch you are!
I'd run for my camera as fast as my feet would take me!

Hi Shell!
You are cute as a bug's ear in your witchee poo hat! That spider web was awesome! There is something very naughty in me that likes to tear them down so they have to rebuild them...maybe that is sharing too much about me!
I like your letter writing swap. I, too, like to write letters and feel sad that it is becoming a lost art.
Have a lovely day! Thank you for my winning the book! I e-mailed you a little bit ago. Sorry I didn't come and check on it - since I almost never win anything I didn't think I would need to...lol.

Hi! Your blog was read by just the right person...me! About 10 years ago we found a spider like yours in our backyard. I called Riverside agricultural department to identify it and was told the scientific name (but we always referred to 'her' as our zipper spider because of the web). It was a her because she had several brown egg sacks made in the nearby bushes. If you catch moths and grasshoppers and throw them in her web, she will love it.
Hi Shell....thanks for visiting my blog this week. You wrote the cutest blog post....what a weird series of events! Those zipper spiders scare the poo-poo out of me and we have a lot of them around here....I have to look twice before I walk outside to be sure I'm not going to walk right smack into one of their webs....I would freak out for sure if I did!!!
PS: Love your witchee-poo hat!
Hugs,
Debbie
