Sometimes it takes a while for your dreams to come into focus and be illuminated. Sometimes even when you think they have, life throws you a twist and makes you think about other things you enjoy. Then the real confusion begins. What to do, what to do...
Here's a sneaky peek of a new stitchery. I absolutely love Baroque and Rococo styles. My new stitcheries will follow this. However, the twist.... everyone keeps telling me to write a book. Tales of the Raspberry Rabbits. A children's book with adult humor??? I've been telling tales for as long as I can remember. Bunnies are easy to talk about.
What do you think?? Stitch or write? Maybe both. What to do, what to do.

shell

Oh most definitely both!!!! I think your bunny tales would make fabulous children's books!!!!
I love the new stitchery, I haven't had a chance to do mine yet, but I will!!! I was actually thinking of doing it as a needle punch.
I look forward to seeing this one done!

Oh I love the bunny lamp! I saw one at Kirklands similar and didn't get it. When I went back it was gone. Oh I envy you! Love your stitchery too. How cute. I noticed the non orange of Sunday. I am seeing more and more white pumpkins and I am with you I love the white. Have a great week. Thanks for sharing your 'buns' lol and your stitchery.
Hi Shell, I think you should combine your gifts of stitching and story telling in a child's book.
You could stitch the illustrations and print the story on fabric that is stitched into the book as well:)
I have written two stories for kids,
and have the illustrations for one completed. Someday I hope to self publish them.
I know you can do it:)
Hugs,
Mary
I say do both. Just pick which one you want to do first.
If you get a voice recognition program for your computer, you could dictate your tales while stitching! Two for one!
You HAVE to do a children's book Shell!! I am so serious!! Everyone would love them :):) I love your stitcheries, you are so talented wit them, they designs are always stunning! You have to do both Shell! You are a natural at both!!
Love ya sweetie,
Amy
yes, both. you can do it. :)
Ok since I am an avid stitcher I love the ideas of new stitchery patterns, HOWEVER, your bunnies run a close second with me, soooo how about a tape recorder on while you stitch and you can dictate the book and still get the stitchery done, efficent and makes everyone happy, Barb in WNC

I am soooo sorry for whatever happened to make my comment post 4 times, sigh, computers, you love them, you hate them, but I sure don't understand the strange things they do sometimes. Barb in WNC
We couldn't find a rabbit lamp when we wanted one, so we made our own. I think about writting children's books too but a bunny named Hef who likes cocktails and does isn't a children's subject.
I think if you can both you definitely should. Your talents for stitchery are obvious and well...your stories and pictures of your beloved rabbits keep me smiling or rolling on the floor laughing all the time!!! Sometimes you just have to go for it!!!
