A Hopp'in and a Swapp'in

Isn't this the cutest little image? I just love it. It originally was in color, but I changed it in my computer to make it more sepia toned. I'm participating in the ornament swap at Quilt and Stitch Marketplace (click here) and this image is going to be part of my ornament. I can't wait to show you the finished piece.
This was my little contribution to the art exchange I participated in. I made this little Friends Stitchery for Charlene at My Hearts Ease (click here). The crochet lace at the bottom is vintage and the those are glass pearls from Swavorski. I love those things!
Finally, I wanted to give you a sneak peak of the floss I'm using for the secret project at the 12 Days of Christmas Shop Hop. Remember, starting this Friday, November 27, visit my website each day for your FREE stitchery pattern. At the end of the 12 days I'll show you the finished project and there will be prizes! Be sure to visit Make Mine Pink (click here) to participate in the shop hop and win prizes there too! While you're at it, you can get all your Christmas shopping done without leaving home!
Don't forget Wild Hare Wednesday kicks off this week with some decorating Wild Hares! I'll be interested to see what your wild decorating hares have been!

12 Days of Christmas Shop Hop

Well it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I have mixed emotions about Christmas this year. Frankly it's been a really, really crappy year for myself and everyone around me. Yet we all still have so many things to be grateful for including the fact that we were by each other's sides, holding each other's hands and giving big giant hugs when needed. I use to get excited about all the Christmas decorations in the stores, but now it all looks like plastic "happy crappy" made in China. It's just junk. It's not special or meaningful or magical.
With that being the sentiment of many of my friends, I would like to invite you to a place where things are still magical and meaningful and beautiful. Please join me and my fellow pink sisters at Make Mine Pink for the 12 days of Christmas Shop Hop. There's prizes, lot's of fun and most of all meaningful, beautiful gifts by women in business that followed their bliss, their dreams and their hearts.
Starting the day after Thanksgiving, please visit my website each and every day for a new FREE stitchery pattern. The pattern will only be available for one day. Collect all 12 and then I'll show you the finished project that you can make from the 12 designs. Of course there will be prizes from me too as I'm grateful for antibiotics making Mr. Fuzzy Pants better. Thanks to all of you for your well wishes. They always help.
12 days of something to look forward to that is fun and festive. Something meaningful to be shared with you, my friends.
Hugs,

This week IGF Razzy still being with me.

Then..... you will have until August 10th to complete the project. Send me a photo of your finished project giving me permission to blog about it. I will draw three names from the list of participants and you will win your choice of any of my patterns as well as a bag of fusible fleece!

So are you ready??? (I've even had two men say they thought the designs were cool)

The Shop Hop is Coming!

It's July already and every year I tell myself that I'm going to start getting ready for Christmas in July. I love to make my own cards and usually I'm running around like a crazy woman (more so than usual) trying to get everything done. Well not this year. I made myself a promise and I'm going to keep it. This year I'm starting in July so that when December get's here, I can sit and enjoy the season, the festivities and have some peace.

My pink sister's and I over at Make Mine Pink are having a fun and festive Shop Hop! You simply hop to each boutique, find the shopping bag and then get registered for prizes! Oh I just love prizes!
In addition, I'm offering a Mystery Stitchery Project and it's FREEEEEE. All you have to do is hop over to my website The Raspberry Rabbits each day and get your free stitchery pattern. The pattern will only be available for that day. Each day of the hop is a new one. Then... after you have collected them all, you will have two weeks to put the project together (don't be scared, you can do it). Then you send me an email and a photo of your completed Mystery Stitchery. I will pick three winners from those that participate. Your prize will be any pattern from my site and a bag of fusible fleece!
So join me on getting with the program early this year so we can kick back and relax at Christmas instead of kicking ourselves in the butt for procrastinating yet another year.
Looking forward to Hopping and Shopping with you!

Conspiracy in Bunnyville

Conspiracy, noun
a conspiring, an unlawful plot, a conspiring group.

Who me?????

What ever do you mean? I'm adorable, tiny and oh so cute! I would never do anything naughty
like chew the carpet!

I'm totally offended.

According to David, there is a conspiracy in Bunnyville. You see for a very long time I have wanted to paint bunnyville and get some vinyl flooring. I really hate carpet and with fabric dust and bunny fur it's a real pain to keep clean. Also, I've had a vision for that room and have been dieing to get it done. Not to mention my sewing chair would glide around much more easily on vinyl than carpet. Well, Princess Chloe Pudd'in Pie decided she was ready to redecorate as well and was using the "cute card" as leverage. You see female bunnies or doe's are natural diggers. They dig the hole in the wild and basically set the "house" up for the family. Chloe has been pretty good about the carpet since I got her. The problem areas (corners) I put boxes or tile pieces on and she left them alone. She only has nine million things to play with and dig at (typical kid). Well on Wednesday she just started digging the carpet all over the place! Thank goodness I was home to catch her! Bunnies cannot eat carpet fibers as it will get stuck in their stomach or intestines and could basically kill them! Of course I went into panic mode and said it's time for vinyl. Like now! I can't put the bunnies back in prision!

So, we moved everything down out of bunnyville (my God I have a ton of crap) and put it all in the living room and dining room.
Here's David getting ready to paint. Our friend, Eric, came over and helped get the big items out as well as helped to get the carpet, padding, etc. up. I helped David paint a little until he kicked me out saying, "you suck at painting, leave." No problem! I hate painting and pretty much I do suck at it. hee, hee, hee! So while bunnyville is undergoing a reno, and David says that Chloe and I had a conspiracy to redecorate and spend his money for the new dash on his 69 Camaro on paint and flooring, the bunnies have been temporarily sent to prison in the foyer. They are quite miffed with us. I'm not sure what my punishment will be. Move over bunnies, mama's spending the night!

I'll post pictures when we get it all done.
Have a great week everyone!

Get Hoppin!

The joyful march into spring begins, a cacophony of bird calls fill the blue skies, the trees show their fresh green buds, and the tulips start to poke their heads from the earth to face the sunshine. Colors are about to burst forth, and the earth will be new again. With fresh eyes, we are stocking our shelves with pretty greens, bright yellows, vibrant pinks, and beautiful blues. For the Boutiques at Make Mine Pink, spring cleaning is over, and we would love to show off our fresh new colors and exciting spring merchandise. Please join us for our "March Into Spring" Shop Hop from March 16 through March 21, 2009. The shop hop is open to anyone that would like to participate (limit one registration per physical address).
