Hoppenings here in Bunnyville

Hi friend! How's your week been so far? Mine is busy but good. I have been thinking about this little old blog again. There use to be a time when I looked at my stats and saw that around 1200 people read my posts. Now.... I'm lucky there are 100. Is blogging just dead? Has Facebook and all other forms of Social Media really taken over? Hmmmm.... we'll see. What do you think?

Anyway, I wanted to share some "hoppenings" going on around here.

I have a small problem... I'm totally addicted to these cookies!!! LOL! They are so good. I eat two of them every day with my tea/coffee break. Sometimes... I eat them for breakfast!!!

My "Within and Inch of My Life" project continues to grow. I love working on this and friends in my Facebook group are having fun too!

Here's the one I did in honor of Dr. King. Love over hate always. I am completely worn out with all of the hate in the world right now. I try my best to focus on good things that we are all blessed with. Some days it's easier than others.

Indeed!

The moon has been so magical the last few nights. It's so pretty when it shines through the bare trees. I love looking at it and making wishes. :)

This is my talented and fun friend, Patty Marsden. She is an excellent seamstress.

This 100% wool coat was given to me by a quilt guild friend. She thought I might like to cut it up for my artwork. Instead, Patty made lots of alterations to make it a petite size and also replaced the lining.

I now have a classic dress coat to wear! I love it with my bunny scarf my sweet friend, Sallieann Harrison, brought me from England.

I actually just took this photo while I was writing this post. Hannah was giving Henry some kisses. Not like she has a choice. He literally just throws himself at her and demands to be groomed. My bunny friends understand this best. ;)

Hugs and see ya next week!

Michelle, the Bunnies and Sabrina kitty too

Always enjoy hearing what is going on in Bunnyville. Love the picture of Hannah and Henry. He looks like a little brother pestering his big sister for attention. It must be such a treat to have them around!

We love hearing from and seeing you; and all things happening at Bunnyville. I think blogger latest blip has made it difficult for people to comment, hence the drop off - we are all seeing the same statistics as you. Love you inch project, so wish I wasn't allergic to wool as I think is a wonderful way to chronicalize a year.

It is so fun to take the time to read some blogs again!! It has been awhile - life just presses on and on!! Love this post!! Been keeping up with your "within an inch" project on Instagram. I agree with the sad dwindle of our blogs . . . it was such an enjoyable part of our lives!! I think about you often!! oxoxoxox

I still love reading blogs and enjoy your posts! I'm not so crazy about all the other social media.

I love reading your blog ... love the "bunny"happenings too. I live in a state in Australia that does not allow us to have rabbits as pets - and even in the states where you can - it is unusual for them to be kept inside...then again ..most of Australia doesn't get the extreme cold that you might get.
Your hexies are very inspiring.
Facebook and Instagram are an easy way out - tick the like button and on you go...I still prefer blogs.

I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog! My morning starts with coffee, cats, and reading a few blogs! I hope you continue to write!

I enjoy reading your blog, especially the quotes - the one from Joseph Addison is really great and the pictures you shared of "within an inch". The rabbits are doing well - luckily they are warm and dry - the rain is coming down so hard right now, it sounds like it will come in the house.
Stay dry and keep blogging - thank you

I love your blog. I'm not much for other social media but enjoy reading blogs with my morning coffee.

I echo what Sherry wrote. I never did join in on facebook etc. but have always enjoyed blogs. Now that said, blogs changed a lot after facebook became so popular. Many write with ads interspersed to make a little money for themselves. I don't like those because they can become too cluttered to read. Many bloggers don't post as regularly as in the past so interest can wane.
I used to use bloglovin to keep up with new posts from my favorite bloggers but then started getting some objectionable followers (although I have no blog myself) and with no help to correct that coming from bloglovin I gave up on that. So now I'm back to my reader list on blogger. It's clumsy but better than nothing.
ooh I rambled. Sorry. I found your blog while reading Marly's, Samplers and Santas

Blogs do seem to be going by the wayside, so many bloggers I used to read no longer write and I miss them. LOVE your classic coat and what a talented friend you have! I too am a seamstress but not sure I would tackle a coat lining!

I love reading blog posts. Am getting so tired of FB and some of the sites I like to follow I miss in my FB feed. Blogs are so much more personal. Love your story.

Hello in Bunnyville! I like reading blog posts, please do not stop! The cookies look yummy. Where do you purchase them? I have seen a few similar kinds in my area but they seem to have a high amount of calories in them. {You don't need to worry about that though.} I love cookies! And bunnies!

Blogging has taken a hit in the past years which worsened with whatever happened messing with readers being able to comment and the blogger being able to know the comments arrived. Tips came in as to how to deal with it. I was able to "fix" my issues for the most part...some of it involving 'cookies' that I don't really understand. There's only one blog left that I read that I haven't figured out a way to comment on...except maybe on YouTube when she posts videos. Many quilt teachers are coming back to blogging as the connection just isn't the same on the other avenues.
I love reading your posts and seeing your bunnies and Sabrina. So I hope blogging works out for you :-)

Ithink part of our followers being down is--first we don't do the give aways we used to do--and you were doing a bom back then too--that might make a difference now--!!!
I blog more for me and some faithful friends I have made on line--
really don't care about the numbers--I usually only get about 8 comments per post and about (60 readers) oh and it is usually the same 8 who comment each time--but that is fine with me--
I have posts that I mostly just read--and some I do comment on nearly every time I read them--
now this photo does show Hannah loving on Henry--see my comment on your facebook post!!!
have a great week-luv, di

I always smile when I see "Raspberry Rabbits" in my in box. I stopped using Facebook in 2015 or 2016 when it got so hateful. I read several blogs every day and always look forward to them. Of course, I love to see what the bunnies and Sabrina are up to in their lives.

I, too, enjoy reading about the adventures of your bunnies and the work that you do.

Your new wool coat is fabulous and your seamstress friend is worth gold. I miss blogging very much however I got caught up in Blogger’s comment woes and do not receive any at all. Very sad. I adore reading blogs and seeing what my friends are doing. I have no desire for faster modes of Social Media i.g. Instagram. I Love Hannah and Henry. Happy Hopping in Bunnyville Dear.

I too love reading blogs over other social media but I do use both Facebook and Instagram as you know. Love your new coat dress and as a dressmaker appreciate the work your friend has done. It looks great especially with your bunny scarf. I had a little chuckle when I read about Henry demanding his grooming; yes my Daisy is the same.

Love your blog, don't plan on reading anything else, Facebook, twitter, instragram, etc all lack in many ways. Blogs are the best - please don't quit! Love the bunnies and all you do!!!

No ideas about if blogging is dead but I do know I enjoy coming to read. I like the conversation feel more than FB or Insta.
I need to sit down and write some conversations of my own.

I am one of those that still reads blogs. Most people that I follow seem to have pretty much abandoned their blogs. The few that still post are among my favorites so that is good for me. I am happy that you are starting to post more but do understand that it is something that takes time.

I have to admit I don't get to read blogs as often these days. I'll go for ages and only read a few here and there. Then like tonight, I'll get the laptop and sit in front of the telly and go through my blog list. It's always nice to catch up with what everyone is up to. Hugs, Christine xx

I have drifted in and out of blog land due to family issues..so I think sometimes life gets in the way ... I must admit that there are fewer and fewer communicating via the blog... More people , like artists are returning...I do not consider Instagram, facebook as real connection, as it seems to be one words sentences and fragmented thoughts... It's like an Oh yeah, Hi, hello ..Good-bye..... That is why I love blogging... We really get to enjoy and create a friendship, share the stories .... like reading your post in Bunnyville here else can I cuddling up and enjoy the unique pieces that you are creating...Love that inchie/hexie idea .... Your dress coat is fabulous ..Yeah for friends...I really enjoy your post and will be looking forward to more bunny stories.... Hugs
