Hoppy March 1st!
Wondering about the title of this post? This is what it means.
""Rabbit rabbit rabbit" is one variant of a superstition found in Britain and North America that states that a person should say or repeat the word "rabbit" or "rabbits", or "white rabbits", or some combination of these elements, out loud upon waking on the first day of the month, because doing so will ensure good luck ..."
I decided I'm going to start doing this each month, as frankly, I can use all the luck I can get nowadays! LOL!!!
Hannah bunny says hello!
A few posts back I mentioned that I was going to be changing a few things as I move forward. One of those changes is that I'm not going to blog every week now. Maybe I'm just burned out after ten years of blogging, or maybe it's just that I have so much going on, but it's not anything worth writing about. It was different when blogging was a hobby, but like everything else, things change. However, I'm not ready to give up blogging because this is my little space in this crazy world and as my friend, Diane Cannon, stated "We can't change the world--though we would very much like to--we can only change and love our own little space in this world."
I've decided I'm going to write my posts on the 1st and 15th of every month. I want to be able to write little stories again and share what is going on in my little world. Plus, this way you will have something to look forward to. If you like, you can sign up on the right to get my posts directly in your inbox.
So, have a wonderful 1st of March and I'll see ya back here on the 16th. Oh...and if you want to make a super cute rabbit, for your own bit of luck, you can purchase the PDF pattern from my SHOP for "Sir Walter Harrington."
Hugs and friends,
Michelle

Sounds like a great plan ....glad you're still going to keep in touch with your fans from far away....hope you have an absolutely fabulous Spring ....from me ...Jan ..in Ontario, Canada 👍👍👍😊😊❤😊
A lot of bloggers seem to have quietened down, myself included. It is time consuming, but I still love reading yours and others posts. So I will keep tuned 🌼
By the way, my sister and I compete on the 1st of the month as to who says "white rabbits" first. We have done it since we were kids. Usually she beats me to it as she gets up way earlier than me 😀
Hi Michelle! The face of blogging has changed so much over the past few years which, I would imagine has had a helping hand in your decision to only blog twice per month. I fell out of blogging almost completely for several years and am now struggling to come back to it with a brand new blog. So much changes over such short periods of time, often a day can be filled with dramatic change so I guess I shouldn't complain about so much change in the world around us. I love your friend's quote about only being able to effect our own little corner of the world... so true. I do miss the blogging of days past, there was a greater connection between bloggers back then, it seems to me anyway. I will most certainly look forward to your bi-monthly posts and updates on what's happening in your's and Hannah's life and in your neck of the woods...
Hugs for now from snowy/rainy New Hampshire...
Life doesn't stand very still does it. I've had to make similar choices because of family needs. My conclusion was that I blog when I can and when I have something to share. Days are blending into remembering into months. It's more about keeping your quality of life and not worry I g about what to blog. Wishing you much success in all your endeavors.
Thanks for the update! Your bunny pattern is so sweet!
I will be happy with you doing only 2 posts a month--just please please dont give up on blogging all together--I so look for ward to them--and photos of Hannah and Sabrina--and the house redo and your designs--and talk about your classes you do and shows----!!!
Guess what quilt I am finally hand quilting this month???
take a peek over on my site!!!
enjoy, di
I can appreciate your thoughts on blogging and although I follow on Facebook I do love reading blogs. I hadn't heard of the expressions regarding rabbits on the first of the month but I think it's lovely. Happy March to you too.
I need to remember to say that as i need luck too. 😊. Hello Hannah. I'm not sure about blogging anymore. As my crafting is all over the place now it seems i've nothing to write about daily(like i used to) or even weekly. I started doing the blogging weekly a year or so ago & it kind of works for me. Love reading your posts. Hugs, xx
Blogging is falling from favor and I am guilty of not posting very often. Life just gets in the way. I am very hoppy happy that you and Hannah will still blog and share with us. I always look forward to hearing what is happening in your world dear. I definitely need Rabbit x3 luck. Yes, Hannah I can feel you chuckling at all of us humans. Hoppy March. Ours came in like a Lion! <3
Oh dear friend, I'm so late for this post but RABBIT RABBIT RABBIT to you! I thought of you on March 1 as I was at school and said the above while walking in the hallway of school! LOL!
Well look at Miss Hannah-Banana-Bo-Bana! She is as gorgeous as ever and your rendition of the white rabbit is gorgeous. I understand about scaling back on blogging; it's just too hard to maintain the same level of newness as the years go by and things do change. I wish you continued happiness as you engage in your creative business ventures and you know I'll follow your bunny trail wherever you go.
Hello Shell and Hannah! xxx
Michele, sounds like a good plan! Glad you aren't giving up blogging all together. I don't post as much as I used to either, but I do post every now and again and it is nice to read everyone's comments. Love all your posts!!
we always greet each other with 'white rabbit white rabbit white rabbit' on the first of the month
SO glad you will not stop blogging! I love reading and seeing what folks are working on (so motivating and inspirational) and the number of bloggers out there has really decreased. Hugs to Hannah and Sabrina. Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit!!!
Hi Shell,
I often say white rabbits at the start of the month.
Hope March is going well for you dear friend and your sweet family.
Blogging has changed a lot lately and I often find life busy and hard to find time. Glad that you are still going to continue with your blog.
Happy new week
hugs
Carolyn
