Hi ya!
Today I would like to share the art of Liz Cooksey with you. I found her work through Pinterest.
You know this bunny piece caught my eye right away. ;)
What I love about her work is the brilliant combination of elements.
To me these patchwork sculptures are so interesting to look at with all the textures, shapes and dimensions.
I find her work to be charming with each piece telling it's own little story. I'm going to save my pennies and purchase a piece from her.
Do hop over and visit Liz. She has several galleries you can scroll through.
I do hope you enjoy discovering these artists. I have a really fun board on Pinterest. It's called Textile and Fiber Art. Hop over and take a look around and follow my board if you like.
(Don't forget my shop is open, but I won't be mailing any orders until July 20th)
Light, love and hugs to you,
Michelle and the Bunnies

I do love learning about these artists from you Shell - I have seen some beautiful things thanks to your posts, and this is no exception - love it!
I'm on my way over to her site now - thanks so much for this!
Thanks for introducing Liz to us. She does wonderful work!
WOW. What a surprise of elements indeed, and how she put them together. I was just reading this morning yet again, about what poetry is. Poetry (like this art too) starts with PLAY and surprise, using devices (materials) in a new way. And a poet, like an artist, needs to invent, reinvent and so forth and so forth, in order to not just grow, but inspire yet more growth in others. WOW, this is amazing art my friend. Anita
I also love Liz Cooksey's work. I discovered her work about a year ago and am always inspired by her wonderful creations. They're so fresh and fun, deceptively sweet and simple (as we all know there is a lot of work that goes into them!) It's my kind of art - that is art that makes me feel good when I look at it. Art that makes me happy :)
very unique and clever... no wonder you want to get one...

The world needs more walls! My slightly off-kilter brother-in-law uses 4 x 8 sheets of plywood which he has hinged on a very sturdy post - it is like a giant rolodex - must be 20 sheets of plywood on there. Mounts all his photos, art, etc ... you go in his "office" and just sort of swing them around one at a time!
How unique is her work...just awesome!
Love her work too!!!
