Week 18 is here. This week the cone flower returns.
This flower is one of three flowers which will be used in our August project. This time I used fabric in the petal section and wool on the top. I liked it. :)
Note: even though it will be one of three flowers, you don't necessarily have to make all the colors the same.
Have I confused you yet?
It will be one project, but 3 different variations. I'm thinking ahead for Christmas gifts. ;)
I used color O531 from the pearl cotton collection, French knots and a back stitch.
Now onto our April project!
Since many of my friends are outside working in their yards and enjoying the beautiful weather, I decided that the next few months of projects will be quick and easy. This month I made a candle mat. It took me a little over an hour to complete and that was with taking photos and making notes for writing the instructions.
Now mind you, if you don't have your flowers done, it will take longer. ;)
I think this will make a nice gift for Mother's day or a hostess gift for a party.
Simply pair it with a candle and you are all set! You know this candle is my favorite don't you? hee, hee, hee.
Friends in the Fellowship will receive instructions for this project by 6:00 p.m. EST. If you do not receive them, please email me.
The bunnies and I would love to have you join us. Click on the tab at the top of the blog for details. Remember, you can join anytime between now and December. I also have pearl cotton and wool kits available in my SHOP.
Hugs and have fun!
xx,
Michelle and the Bunnies
