Rolling right along! Week 11 is here already. This week the rose returns. This flower will be used in the project at the end of the month.
I had lots of fun creating this one.
I do love making French knots.
How are you coming with your flowers?
Hand stitching is so relaxing. However, I have also been thinking about how these would look with machine stitching. Have you tried it?
Remember, you can join the Fellowship of the Flowers anytime this year! Simply click on the tab at the top of our blog for more information. The bunnies and I would love for you to join us!

Another gorgeous flower Michelle - thank you for this :-) At first I thought the French Knots were hundreds of tiny beads - Oh no I thought!! But whew they are French knots, I can handle them!!
Oh, now there you go! Machine stitching....give it a whirl! Hand-stitching I suppose would be lovely and so relaxing, especially on a gentle summer day or evening, but to get things whipped out fast, maybe a machine will be the best solution. I can't say I've ever done it, though, but I sure love to watch.
Big hugs my dear! Anita
You darling soul, YOU. Thank you for the purchase! This is the first of what I hope will be even better articles. MANY THANKS!
This is so pretty! Love all your flowers!
I LOVE THIS ONE!!!!
Very pretty flower!
My favourite so far. Love the stitching with all its knots, (although I never do French Knots, I'm too lazy, I prefer Chinese:).)x
Michelle I so love the blue fabric you're using - such a rich clear color. It's absolutely striking on this flower! blessings, marlene
This is my favorite color combo yet! I love how fresh and Spring flowers this is. That is a lot of French knots. My flowers are not blooming so well...kind of like my daffodils here. I think our "exceptional" drought stunted the blooms. I am currently cutting out and preparing my first bee. Very excited to see it come to be...
What? I have not done machine stitching since the treadle broke. You just can't get replacement parts for those anymore. It's needle, thread, and thimble for me!
