Hi ya! I hope you are having a fun week so far. Me and the bunnies have been having lots of fun.
First, is a little sneaky peeky of the "Carrot Run" block. See the post below for more info. I'll show you the whole block and what I did with it on Monday for the blog tour. So fun!
Next is a sneaky peeky of another project which will be in my Fabled Fusions book. This piece is called "Wish Upon a Star."
As you know, I listen to music all day long. Music makes me happy and soothes my soul. It also inspires me as I get lost in the melodies and words. I'm a dreamer for sure.
This is the song that inspired this piece. I loved to watch Disney on Sunday nights when I was very little. I loved the magic."When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are. Anything your heart desires will come to you. If your heart is in your dream, no request is too extreme. When you wish upon a star as dreamers do."
Make some wishes and dream some dreams. We'll see you back here on Friday.
Light, love and hugs,
Michelle and the Bunnies

Lady Hannah Goldenhare - Nothing Gold Can Stay
Hello dear friends, It's been a minute hasn't it? My last post was over a year ago. I decided I wanted to stay in my bubble where it...

Hi Shell,
Great to see a glimpse of your new projects. It's looking good so far!
I loved that song too when I was little. I remember it made me cry once because I so wanted the magic to be true. I was always wishing upon the stars hoping the dreams would come true! ;-)
Hugs to you and bunnies.

Love the sneak preview...your projects are always wonderful! And the song also brings back memories of Sunday night...we were all glued to the TV! Thanks for the memories!
Ohh....you got my heart. Bunnies, wishing upon a star...how much more could you want? You make the idea of "Making your own happiness" so real and true Michelle. To work at home, to listen to music as you work (I do the same!) and to employ your local gentry (in your case, the local rabbits!) then how can you NOT make dreams come true?
Love this post, and I too, as a child of the 60s.....enjoyed watching Disney WAAAAAAAY back in the late 60s on Sunday nights, with my beloved parents...ahhhh.......
Looks great Michelle! I'm sure it will be darling!
Shell you always make me smile.xx Rachel
Always enjoy your projects. I haven't hear this song in a long time. Years ago when my granddaughter was about 4, we went together for the first time to the new Disney store. Looking at all the things in the store, I was so overwhelmed with memories of when my Grandma took me to see Cinderella that I had tears in my eyes.
Of course, she thought I was nuts....giggle. :D
I too love the magic of Disney and this song is one we should all remember. Tricky sneaky peeky.
Happy Creative Hearts...
So beautiful, Shell...xxx
Hi Shell,
Lovely to see a little sneak peek of your latest work. Sweet! the thought of a Carrot Run!
I too enjoy listening to music when I am working at home.
Love the song too, and hope all your wishes and dreams come true.
Hugs to you, Harrington and Hannah
It makes me happy to picture you in you studio working away with music and bunnies near by:D
Zippidy Doo Dah!
Say, those two employees of yours in the picture to the right don't look too ambitious. How much do you pay them?
I just love these sneak peeks!
A hilarious photo of the rabbit musicians! Love it! And that is one of my very favorite songs. I especially like the line " If your heart is in your dream, no request is too extreme."
Music - who can live without it? Not me for sure. There's none playing and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.... Want to see how those felt 'carrot run' shapes will come to life...xxx
I almost feel like I shouldn't mention this, because those rabbit musicians are so darned cute... but, oh, what the hey! DID YOU KNOW, that The hobby of taxidermy became very popular in the Victorian times and popular "subjects" were kittens, rabbits and baby chicks and ducks. OH the horrors of it all! I too, am a child of Disney, Sunday nights 7:00, we young ones were glued to the set!
Love this post - and I loved Disney on Sunday nights too.... sometimes we had dinner before but often the two coincided - and it was a special night when my mom would let us wheel the tv into the dining room, so we could watch while we ate - hardly ever happened, but it was so very much fun when it did.
I can't tell you how much I love where your designs have gone lately - they are just so stunning!
