"Frosting" on the Bunnies

Did I get your attention with the title of this post? Hee,hee, hee.

Well it kinda goes like this. I sent my "Adventures of Harrington and Hannah" quilt to my dear friend, Mary of Quilt Hollow. Mary is a rockstar with the longarm quilting machine, and I knew I wanted her to quilt this very special quilt for me.

I told Mary I didn't care how she quilted it. I wanted her to use her talent and vision and just have fun.

Mary asked me if I wanted to see a peek of it and I said, "Nope, I want to be surprised." Several friends of hers saw my quilt on her machine and said that her quilting was the "Frosting." I have to say I couldn't agree more!

I love how each block stands out. She know's how much I love hearts.

I love all the cross hatching in the sashing and the feather's, or should I say bunny ears in the border. ;)

When I finished the binding, I could hardly wait to hang it in it's place of honor, Harrington and Hannah's corner office.

They are quite pleased with it and their new rug (a 100% natural jute rug that won't hurt them if they chew it.) They took a nap to celebrate. ;)

Bunnyville is such a fun place to work.

If you are a new friend to our blog, "The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah" was a FREE BOM last year. The patterns are still free and available in our shop. We have 5, yep only 5 complete kits left if you would like to purchase one to make this fun quilt. The kit contains the National Nonwovens wool felt, Valdani 3 strand floss, border fabric, background fabric and sashing fabric. Batting and backing not included. Hop over to our SHOP for the kit and patterns.

Now, if you already made your Harrington and Hannah quilt and need a fabulous longarm quilter to quilt it for you, please do hop over and visit with Mary. Tell her your bunnies need some "Frosting."

Hugs! :)

Oh precious friends,

I am wearing a huge smile on my face as I see the beautifully made quilts, the little scenarios with bunnies in each one (use that umbrella sweet ones! Don't get to close to that beehive!) and then the ICING or the frosting on the cake, is that office space/corner! teeheee...THEY HAVE IT MADE!

Michelle, your love for bunnies, your play, your spirit, it is all a gift. THANK YOU.

Smiles are what I'm wearing to school today! LOVE! Anita

Good Morning Shell. Beautiful, awesome, what can I say it was the frosting on the quilt. Your work is always beautiful. Your bunnies are so spoiled with their new jute rug. My grandson is still trying to get his bunny but maybe some day. Ours is cold today. The storm came through early this morning and woke me up. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.
