Hi there! Hope you had a fantastic weekend and wonderful Thanksgiving. Many thanks to you for celebrating Small Business Saturday and Sunday with me and the bunnies.
Now it's on to Christmas fun and festivities!
The other day I was looking at this big ol' pile of wool scraps and thinking about what to do with them. I save all my little bits of wool felt because even the tiniest of pieces can be used for something. I have found several fun projects to use up these little scraps. I'll share them with you over the next couple of weeks.
This first project, designed by Cynthia Ann Dubbers, came to my email today from Cloth Paper Scissors magazine. I love this magazine and get their newsletter updates. There are always lots and lots of fun things to create.
Even though these topiaries are made from fabric scraps, I thought they would be just as lovely with wool felt scraps. Hop over HERE to Cloth Paper Scissors for the instructions. Wouldn't they be wonderful for folks in senior centers or hospitals who need a little holiday cheer?
If you don't have wool felt scraps, you can always start building your wool collection. I have lots of colors in my SHOP.
Have fun! :)
xx,
Michelle and the bunnies

Those tree's look so cute. Be great in felt. Hugs,
What a fantastic idea!!! I am definitely going to be making some of those~
Ooh i saw those too and thought very cute but they'd definitely be cuter in wool felt!
Here is what I do with my pile of wood scraps. I put the next wood scraps on it. You never can tell when you might need a scrap of wood. I would think the same for felt scraps or snippets of colored threads.
Wow, those trees are gorgeous! I'll def make a Christmas one!
That is a cool project!
Ah...scraps is my middle name!!!!!! You should see the pile of scaps of paper I use to do my paper mâché. I bet you are going to be super busy over the next several weeks my dear! HAVE FUN! Anita
neat idea. can't wait to see more.
You have scraps of wool, I have piles of yarn. One of these days, I am going to make something with them (assuming that I ever get my project list cleared, that is.)
Thanksgiving was crazy, still trying to get myself in order, but I think that will have to wait until after the Big Day. Your nephew sends nose bonks and bunny kisses. :D
can't wait to see what you do with the scraps,xx Speey and Rach
Thank you for the super crafty idea for scrappy holiday trees. I'm starting today for 2013.
