Little Houses No. 2

Hi everybun! Whew! I made it. I told ya'll I would have this pattern ready today and I just made it by a bunny whisker! I have a tendancy to get carried away when I'm designing something, I'll add one more little thing that looks cute to me. This time it was the little black buttons in the patchwork. Of course, I didn't have enough of them and the store was closed on Sunday and Monday so I had to wait until today.

I decided to make mine into a pillow, but this could also be a cute wallhanging. It measures 12" x 12".

I used my Valdani Folk Art floss collection and Black. The Pattern and the Floss is available in my Shop.

I started stitching this project two weeks ago when I was in West Virginia visiting my best friend. She took me on a zip line tour! I'll have more on that adventure later. Fun and scary!

Wishing you a magical and happy week!

Somebunny's been spoiled! Big Time!

Hi everybun! It feels like the last month has been one giant blurr. Do ya'll feel that way too? Time is going by so fast and while I feel like I get a lot done, at the same time my pile of things to do is is multiplying like bunnies! hee, hee, hee.

I wanted to take time today to post a big giant Heartfelt THANK YOU to some very special friends that brought big smiles to my face over the past month and made me feel so incredibly loved and SPOILED!

First, this beautiful handmade heart arrived from my dear friend, Jillayne of A Fine Seam. Jillayne is my kindred sister. We have so much in common and I can't wait to meet her in person one day. I love all the hand stitching she did on this heart, the ruched flower and divine smell! I have it hanging on the doorknob to Bunnyville. Thanks soooo much Jillayne!

Next is this totally cool handmade mug mat from fun Fiona of BubzRugz . She made this especially for me and I love it! The fabrics are so soft. I have it sitting on the table next to my chair in the living room. It looks so perfect there. Thanks a million Fiona!

Then I got another mug mat from my sweet friends Di and Miss Gracie of Quilting is Blissful. They also gave me the cute bunny stickers! I use this mug mat up in Bunnyville for my afternoon tea and biscotti break. Don't ya'll just love mug mats! Thanks so much girlfriends!

My bunny friend, Karen of Rabbits Eat Quilts made me this adorable Bunny Monster! Isn't it cute!! It's super soft too! I have it sitting on a shelf in Bunnyville. (high up so two crazy bunnies don't get a hold of it! Naughty!) She wrapped it in a piece of her hand dyed fabric! Cool! I can't wait to use that for something special. Thanks so much Karen. I love them!

Then I got a package from my good friend Jo May of Joanne May Illustration. As many of you know, I adore Jo's jewelry and have a necklace and bracelet that I wear all the time. Jo sent me this brooch to add to my collection!! Love it!! Jo is also an incredible illustrator and I have commissioned her to do a painting for me. I'll have more on that later. I'm so excited!

The ever lovely and sweet Jenny of Elefantz sent me this adorable bunny. Jenny is one of the most kind hearted people. She's one of those people who's warmth shines so brightly. I hope to meet her in person one day. Thank you very much for this sweet bunny Jenny. I've placed her in my guest bedroom to welcome everyone that stays with me.

Next, my aunt and friend, Deb (no blog) went on a spa retreat. She saw these at a little shop there and just had to get them for me seeing as this is the year of the rabbit! Loooooooove them! The bunny hangs on my vision board reminding me of all good things to come and I drink my afternoon tea from this wonderful tea cup. Thanks so much Deb. I love them!!

My friends, Gabi and Madison, (no blog) sent me this wonderful wine glass! How fun! Madison made the clay bunny especially for me in memory of my precious Sugie bunny. Thank you so very much girlfriends. I shall have a toast to Sugie and my wonderful memories of her.

And last, but not least, is a pressie I received the other day from the sweet Kris of Lavender Quilts.     I saw this pretty piece of fabric on her blog the other week and little did I know that she was sending it to me! She also sent this adorable little bunny container. It's the perfect place to hide little sneaky snacks for Hannah and Harrington up in Bunnyville. I'm going to use the fabric to make myself a little keepsake in memory of all my bunnies I have lost over the past 2 years.  Thank you so very much Kris!

Didn't I tell ya I been SPOILED! Big Time! It's not even Christmas! I can't thank ya'll enough for thinking of me and making me feel sooooooooooooo loved. Your friendship is my most favorite gift of all. I treasure all of you.

Love and xx always,

May I present "Lady Hannah Goldenhare"

Hello everybun! Happy Friday! I'm so delighted you could join us today! Harrington has patiently been waiting for me to share this news. It's been a month since he lost his dear Sugie Bunny and he's been very sad and has been laying around Bunnyville pouting and not wanting to help me with any work. Not like he ever liked to work that much anyway.

                    "I heard that Mama."
Oh, well, um, ok, so like I was saying he was very sad that he didn't have a friend to play with, eat with and tell secrets to. So, like any good Mama that want's nothing but happiness and good things for her kids, I set out for the rescue to find Harrington a friend.

I am delighted to present "Lady Hannah Goldenhare of Bunnyville."  Hannah, as we call her is full of spunk and personality. She loves attention, loves to play and oh yes... loves to party in the poo poo bucket! Not very lady like, but Harrington doesn't really act like a "Sir" either. hee, hee, hee.

I do believe Hannah danced and partied all night at the rescue. In fact, the old bunny in the moon must have found her to be so lovely and entertaining that could not resist a kiss. (Postcard from my artist friend, Diana Moll)

The old bunny hopped down from the moon and kissed her on the nose leaving some moon dust behind in the shape of a star. This gives her extra magical powers for making lots of mischief and fun.

Harrington is thrilled to have a new friend and has given her the tour of Bunnyville. Hannah agrees that the employee lounge is quite nice.

Harrington has invited her to take over as Executive Bunny Officer (EBO) of The Raspberry Rabbits as he wants to resume his role as Director of Bunny Resources (DBR).

I have already caught them whispering about me. All I can say is we are are getting ready to have one crazy adventure with these two party animals! I do hope ya'll will join us!

Happy Friday! xx,

12 of Hearts May Block and a Giveaway!

Hi everybun! Can you believe we are on the May block already? I can't! But I am having lots of fun stitching these. How are you doing with them? Are you caught up, almost there, or just getting started? I have June's stitched, but I need to get hopp'in on the rest.

Well here is May's Block. Click here to hop over and get the pattern. It's under Free Designs on the left. While you're there, check out lots of new stuff I've added to the shop. Quilt hangers, Steam A Seam 2 and Rabbit Embroidery Scissors! Fun!

I love how it's looking so far! This month's Valdani 3 strand floss color is P7 Withered Blue.

I just restocked the 12 of Hearts Floss Kits if you would like to get one.

Now on to our giveaway! This month I thought it would be fun to offer a DVD. This is from Quilting Art's and it's workshop on making fabric journals. I love using little scraps of fabric, stamps and embellishments to make little journals. It's really fun!

To be entered into the drawing, simply leave a comment on this post. As always, our wonderful friends that have signed up (on the right sidebar) as Followers will receive TWO chances! Everyone worldwide is welcome and encouraged to enter. The random number generator will pick the winner on Wednesday, May 18th.

Good luck everybun and happy stitching!
