So like I've been saying, 2011 is The Year of the Rabbit. I also made a promise it would be a handmade year! So our giveaway for 600 followers is this bunny pillow! Miss Velvet Bunny loves to sit among the roses on a soft, blue, sky, day. This pillow measures 12" x 16" and has a feather insert.

We lived in Japan for several years, and I was speaking with a group of Japanese ladies one day. They were discussing an upcoming family wedding and how the bride was born in the year of the rabbit. All the ladies were smiling and nodding and ooo-ing and aaah-ing. When I asked why they were so happy about this news, they explained that women born in the year of the rabbit make the very best wives and mothers! Then they figured out I am also a Rabbit, and my stock with these women went WAAAAAAYYYY up! So, Rabbits, of all kinds, ROCK! But you knew that already!

I always have to check in and see what your cute bunnies have to "say." We have two Siamese cats who really do "talk" all the time, but I bet they're not as soft-spoken as your rabbits! This pillow would be a good reminder to them that they don't have to be so insistent, and they could be "quiet as a bunny" once in a while! Oh, and I am a follower! 600--Yikes!!!

Hi Shell....I love your bunnies and the name of your blog. Mom and Dad always had an awesome raspberry patch, they were the best berries. They made the best dark raspberry jelly and last spring she moved after 60 years, last summer was the first year without her raspberries. Oh how I miss them.
