Vintage Buttons

Hellooooo my pretties! Oh do I have plans for you!

I got these at the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival. Vintage Mother of Pearl. I go gaga over them. They were my "big splurg, my entire budget." I paid $48 for them!!! (don't tell David, he already thinks I'm nuts over bunnies and fabric!)
I do have a very special project for them though where they will be showcase properly and all their beauty displayed! You'll be able to make the project too, but you can use less expensive buttons, unless that is.... that you're just as gaga over Mother of Pearl buttons as I am!!

Hugs,
shell

Ooh, those are lovely - I never even see buttons like that! I'm excited to see what you do with them. And never mind the cost - if it makes you happy it's worth it!x

I am headed for my button tin right now, Shell! These are sooo
pretty. Don't think I have any of these treasures though. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for these.

Loving the texture in those, if something so smooth can be said to have texture.....

Oh My, And I think $5 for a giant bag at a thrift store is too much, ha ha cause I can usually nab them for $3:D They are lovely though and I am sure will look even more beautiful in your new project. Can't wait to see what your up to.
