Work'in on it Wednesday

Hi there! How's your week going so far? Mine is super busy, but I'm having a great time! I'm soooooooo happy that you are loving the first block in the Harrington and Hannah BOM! Now I can't hardly wait to show you the February block! The bunnies and I send sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of you that have purchased floss, wool and fabric!

I'm starting again today with my Work'in on it Wednesday posts. Each Wednesday I'll show you something I'm work'in on and I hope to hear what you're work'in on too!
So this week, I want to show you my new Folk Art Fusion piece. It's called "Party Under the Pear Tree." The bunnies told me there will be lots of "hip hop" music. ;) hee, hee, hee.
I still have the stitching, quilting and binding to do, but I sure do love how this piece is looking so far. It's going to hang in my dining room.

As I mentioned a while back, I'm working on my first Folk Art Fusion book. I hope to have it ready in May. In it, I'll teach you how to do Folk Art Fusion. I know you will love it just as much as I do!

So, what are you work'in on this Wednesday?

xx, Michelle

Now there's that lopped eared Harrington! I will be helping my SIL to make a matching pillow to go with her first quilt just finished - for her great-niece due Valentines Day.

I can't WAIT for that book of yours to debut! The Pear Tree Party quilt is going to be a real hit!

I'm finishing my January QAL with the gals at our LQS, then I'm going to complete another little piece that's been off to the side for a while. I'll finish up today by binding a guild quilt that they needed someone to finish. I love doing the bindings on quilts, so I volunteered!

During my breaks today, I'll be taking Tag outside, letting him back in, making sure he has water, doing a few "drills" with him to keep him sharp - oh, yeah - and doing the laundry. All to make up for a slothful weekend!

Love you, girlfriend!
xoxo

What a lovely block with plenty of influence from your hip hop friends. ;) I'm working on a sweater for my daughter today. I've been busy filling orders (for my Etsy shop customers) and have finally caught up so am trying to finish one for daughter before we go back to sea in a couple of weeks. Daughter takes care of my merchandise shipping while I am away so she deserves an extra sweater or two for herself!

Hi, shell! Love this piece, especially those ears.I guess "party under the pear tree" has a wider appeal than "party in the poo poo bucket"? I can still see the Harrington influence, though....

Shell, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!!! Not only are there EXTRA BUNNIES... (and lops?!) I have such a thing about trees. When I see them in art (or on clothing), it just makes me feel all nice inside :)

Let's see. Today's work includes catching up on timesheets, reading for biz org, prepping for my fake interview tonight, and then when I get home from the interview, family law reading!

Got up and turned the house 45 degrees for a better view of the new grape vineyard I planted yesterday. Then I ground 34oo bags of fresh fair-traded coffee that I flew in earlier in my Cessna 175 which I rebuilt last week in the new hangar we put up last month after deconstructing the entire West Marginal Way Boeing Plant and posting all the artifacts on eBay and selling them in 2 days and reaping a cool $2.3 billion which we are using to start our non-profit tomorrow to fight world hunger and poverty and a couple other things we are still wroking on.

I'll be on the harrington thingy soon!

Oh - did I mention shoveling the driveway three times?

Well, I've been washing a sheep's fleece, spinning, and knitting. Oh, I'm not spinning and knitting the fleece I'm washing, just working on other projects with other wool. Boy, I think I'm busy, but my stuff can't hold a candle to that busy bee RG. Work! Work! Work!

Got my wool :)
Stephen handed out the lollipops to all.
And today I am catching up on computer/blogs. Tomorrow I hope to sew. I have an order that has to get done before I can begin stitching my fave bunnies so I need to get that order done!!!

Hi Shell,
Your new work is adorable. I love it!
Those bunnies look very happy leaping and dancing under the pear tree. ;-)
You always create such neat fabric pieces with perfect stitching!

I want to get a good sewing machine when I move house, so I can do one of your kits properly. I think I will be making a wall hanger for my new home, from one of your beautiful designs.

Have a great weekend,
Hugs,
Jo. xx
