Textile Artist Susan Lenz - Precious Posessions

Hi ya!

I'm busy packing and getting ready to head to Missouri. I will be having a Play Date and Chat with friends at the Lee's Summit Quilters' Guild. I'm really looking forward to meeting everybunny. We are going to have lots of fun! Contact me if your guild or group would like to have a Play Date and Chat. It would be so wonderful to meet you!

While I'm working, I like to listen to podcasts or different things on You Tube and Ted. I really enjoy learning new things and hearing other's stories. The other day I came across Susan Lenz and her wonderful work.

Susan is a professional studio artist living in South Carolina. She creates textile works and installations. You can visit her WEBSITE HERE. She and her work are fascinating.

Today I wanted to share the Ted Talk she did on "Making plans for your precious possessions."

If you enjoyed that, you can also watch this short video she did on thread. Click HERE.

Have a great rest of your week and a fun weekend. I'll see you back here next Wednesday with a re-release of something Hap-Bee.... as requested.

Light, love and hugs,
Michelle

GOod morning dear, dear Shell! First of all, I love your new profile photo! MISS HANNAH-B is snuggling with you! The perfect shot. Well my friend, you are on a roll. I wish I could listen to you, be there to enjoy your presence. I so hope that all the fun and preparation will soon become a time when you are inching your way into your new home. Keep busy, bless others, and before you know it, you will wonder, "Where did all that time go?"

HUGS!

Give them what for! They'll love it.

Been seriously downsizing for awhile. My precious possessions are either all off on their own or in a very small box! I think I'm good.

Little Racer bunny passed on the other day - he was 10 and some years and suffering - and so now just The Princess - all 13 1/2 years of her!

That is a great video. We do need to use our precious belongings and come up with a plan for them. I love what she did with the spools on it.
