Playing and Pondering

You ever have one of those days when an idea just grabs you and won't let go?

I have had an entire week of that. I'm not sure if it's because I'm having a "wild hare moment," or if I just get bored with the same look of things and have this desire to break out of the box and be different from everyone else.

So here's a sneak peek of a new Folk Art Fusion design that is a totally the opposite of what I would normally create. My designs tend to be on the country side of things and this is definitely more modern.

I would love to hear what you think of it. Should I be a rebel and start the stitching or just scrap it? Would it be something you would want to make or take a class on?

Hugs,
Michelle

YES YES YES! BE A RUNAWAY BUNNY and go for it. That is what I'm doing my friend, and ya know what? It's good. Because when we wake up with ideas that will NOT let us go, we have to go for it. I love what you are doing here. If we don't take risks, as the old cliché goes, we'll never know what our potential could have blossomed into.

Go...SHOOOO, little bunny! Runaway!

We all need a "wild Hare" to spark up these cold days. Beats a "wild hair" any day. The bit of design you shared looks fun.

Well first of all, when I showed it to my therapist and explained it, she told me I need to get out more.

Second, if you DO do it - and the voting seems overwhelming - have an exit strategy if needed.

Bunnies of a different color should be included in the hutch too. Trying something new keeps you young and keeps you inquisitive. I'm 71 but always look for new things to learn in my craftwork and sewing. Go for it "Crazy Bunny Lady"!

The journey has started. I'm gonna bunny hop along. Looks interesting, keep on hopping!

Go with it! I can't wait to see the finished project. We all evolve...I am also moving from "primitive" to modern in my quilting and designing.

Finish it.

Absolutely be a rebel - it never hurts to do something new, take an idea forward, even if it doesn't seem like "you"... where you end up with it may not be where you began but it will be worthwhile. Have fun!

I say that you go with it, it will be beautiful and I know I would like to make something a little modern.
