Wicked Blog Hop

Woo hoo! Today is our day to participate in this fun hop! First, the bunnies and I would like to send a big thank you to our hostess, Wicked Wendy over at Why Knot Kwilt and to the ever so talented Madame Samm of Sew We Quilt. Did you see the film trailer Samm made for this hop? It was so cool!

Alrighty then, let's get hopping along. You know I absolutely love, yes love, working with wool felt and Valdani floss. You also know that I love decorating. Well, I decided the pumpkins David carved for our mantel needed some friends.

I took the bat from my Bitty Bat postcard pattern,

enlarged him to three different sizes,

stitched them with floss, couched some sparkly orange yarn to give him some bling,

attached them with orange buttons and braided some yarn for the ends to

to make a Bitty Bat banner for my fireplace! Now say, "Bitty Bat Banner" three times fast. hee, hee, hee. I'm such a dork.

It was super fun to make and I think it looks perfect on my fireplace. The pumpkins think so too. :)

My Postal Fusions are becoming addicting. I have lots of new designs coming out soon. They are fast and fun to make. You can purchase my pattern in paper form from my SHOP, or you can purchase it as an instant download from my CRAFTSY SHOP and save yourself the postage. Not to mention you can start playing right away. ;)

*Please note, I'm currently in Houston at quilt market, so if you order a paper pattern, it will be next week before it is mailed to you.

Thank you for visiting with me and the bunnies. Now we invite you to hop over and visit our friends who we are delighted to share this day with.

What a Beautiful Bitty Bat Banner! Hope you are having a quilty time in Houston. It should be warmer there in lots of the US. It's brrr here in OK. Folks are having heaters serviced very soon in the season this year. My son's friend moved into a new (to him) house and it was infested with bats. His wife was out of town and he moved to a hotel. My son was there and trapped the one bat they saw in a room. They called an exterminator type person who scared the guano out of my son's friend who is skiddish anyhow. Love your banner and it rocks in the room. Thanks for sharing and being a great inspiration. BTW - love your luggage - easy to "spot."
