Mid-Month Madness! I can see clearly now.

Hellooooooooooooooo! It's time! It's time!

It's all been quite mad around Bunnyville. I have a major deadline on June 1st and I'm late! I'm late! I can't think straight! My little pea brain has been working overtime on my book. It has to be my only focus right now or my graphic designer will be really mad at me. What's that saying? Poor planning on your part doesn't constitute an emergency on mine. Needless to say, I didn't design a postcard for this month.

However, it is Mid-Month Madness and like I said in the beginning of the year, ya never know what it will be.

It's funny how one's body decides to make some changes as it get's older. The main thing with me is my vision. My eye's have decided to have a midlife crisis of their own. I now have two different distance prescriptions and a reading prescription! Are you kidding me?

Hello!

I tried the multi-focal contact lenses as I like contacts and have worn them a long time. But, I got dizzy and almost fell down the steps and backed my car into the garage wall. (Shhhh...dont' tell David!) Plus, I really couldn't see well enough close or far. Well poo!

I decided to just face the music and get me some glasses. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...I can see clearly now! Happy Bunny Dance! I look kinda funky, but hey, I'm an artist, that's ok.

So this month, I'm celebrating being able to see 2020 again! Woo hoo! I decided to give a 20% discount on any order over $20 in my SHOP! All you have to do at checkout is enter the coupon code of 2020. hee, hee, hee. :)

If you are new to my shop, please be sure and read my shipping policy so you don't get scared!

Now is a good time to try a kit. There are only a few Harrington and Hannah kits left. Patterns are still FREE.

How about some Valdani 3 strand floss?

Some National Nonwovens wool felt?

Some new scissors? This sale will only be good until this Friday, May 17.

But, you know we always have a giveaway. I have a signed copy of Quilt Maker's 100 Blocks Magazine,

and I also have this really fun purse pattern to add to it! You can make this purse to match all your Summer outfits! This is just the pattern, not the purse.

To enter the giveaway, leave a comment on this post. To get two chances, become a follower of our blog (right sidebar) or sign up to have my posts delivered to your email (top of the right sidebar).

The bunnies will use the random number generator to pick the winner on Friday. Remember, the sale ends Friday too.

Here's to seeing 2020! Oh, and being a little funky too. :)

Light, love and hugs to you!
Michelle and the Bunnies

You look great in glasses. I too have two pairs. One for distance and one to use at the computer. The joys of aging. LOL!

First of all, I see Harrington is examining that FABULOUS quilt from a very close proximity! HE TOO may need some mini bunny glasses! Oh Michelle, wait until you get to my age! AH! My eyes are thrashed! But thank goodness, I am in top form everywhere else, so far! But the eyes....THE EYES! They go first! teehee...you still got it in ya, babe, so KEEP making those fantastic designs! Love the giveaway, and OH! I had a job interview yesterday, so I was unable to get photos of the JINGLES that is now almost complete. I am putting the finishing touches today and will send you a sneak peak of it before I mail it off.

MUCH LOVE and you look beautiful in your glasses! Anita

The glasses look great, shell! As Sarah was growing up, I always told her to just think of them as another type of jewelry! Hope the work is going well.

I can still remember my first pair of glasses....some 40+ years ago....I could see leaves on the trees....they weren't just big green blobs after all! LOL the glasses look good on you, very smart!

I had difficulty when first started wearing tri-focals, and still take my glasses off for reading. It does help for mid-range of driving and seeing the dash, as well as the computer monitor. Thanks for the sweet giveaway. I love your glasses with the fuzzy-wuzzy hat. It suits your artistic personality.

I like the glasses. I have bifocal contacts myself. For the most part they do the job.

Love your bunnies! Our bunny's name is Leena but her nickname is Chubbutt. She is not chubby but she was a rescue rabbit and was very thin when we got her. She gained a lot of weight with us which prompted the nickname but even so she is still at her proper weight.

Thank you for having this giveaway. I love that pattern.

Just hoppin over to say you make the cutest little bunny faces, even with the specs!

***(no need to include me in the drawing, k?)

Your finished H & H quilt makes me wish I'd done the blocks already - I just love it! How could ya not??

I've worn glasses all my life, with contacts thrown in there for a few years too...and it must be time for some new ones - I find myself taking them off to see up close! Or arm's length and map reading, and frog stitchin' (rip it, rip it), and checking colors, gosh, you name it.

Can't wait to see what you've been up to!!

Down here at no. 72, I have the advantage of seeing that all the many folks think you look great in the glasses and so do I! Very sophisticated. We have relatives that have them even though they don't need them ... they are for "the looks".

I see Sharon from Disapproving Rabbits has a new book just out. You two make bunnies proud!!!

Your glasses look nice. I have seen artists who don't need glasses were them to express themselves. They have different glasses for different moods or ideas. I did join your blog...I have been reading it for a while now, I enjoy the blocks of the month...so much fun.

It's a good thing to be able to see! The glasses look good but are a pain to keep clean.

Wonderful purse pattern and everything else too. Love the glasses. Glad you broke down. It really is silly to remain stubborn isn't it now that you can see clearly? LOL I did the very same thing. Never needed glasses my entire life until I hit that big 4-0 and then BAM! Blind as a bat.

Two pair of glasses eh? I think I am heading in the same direction! Oh well, cant be so bad. As long as I can continue to do my hand stitching and my quilting I'm good. Give the bunnies a hug for me and let them know I kept their wild cousins well fed with my tulips and my crocuses!! LOL
I would love to have that magazine! And I am a follower!

Hi Shell,
I'm not entering the giveaway as a very lovely and generous friend already sent me a copy of the mag!
I wanted to say that the contact lenses could take time to get used to. I'd suggest wearing them round the house (not for driving!) for a few hours and you might find you get used to them. Worth a shot, though the glasses really suit you.
