Pets on Quilts Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pet's on Quilts Blog Hop! It's wonderful to have you here with us! We would like to give a very special "Thank You!" to Snoodles for hosting this event! We invite you to hop over and visit her for the list of pet and quilt participants and to view all the wonderful prizes you can win! We are delighted to be a prize sponsor for this very fun event! Woo hoo!

I will now pass this over to my assistants, Harrington and Hannah who will tell you about "The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah."

"Now? Is it time? Harrington wake up, it's our turn."

"Once upon a time there were two little bunnies who were ship wrecked and alone on a deserted island where they had to sleep in a stick tent."

"Hannah!!!"

"What? You said to tell an adventure story."

"I was really liking that adventure story Hannah."
"Me too Harrington. Mama can be such a poo."

"No you two ding dong's. Tell the story about "The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah" free BOM we've been doing this year. Harrington, why don't you try?"

"OK. So let's see. Every year Mama designs a Free BOM to share with all of her fun friends in Bloglandia. She gathers fabrics and starts designing in July for the new patterns that will begin in January."

"This year she decided to combine wool applique, stitchery and patchwork together. On the 15th of every month, she gives you a new free pattern in our SHOP. Each month, Hannah and I are doing something regarding friendship, kindness and giving. Mama chose this theme because she believes strongly in all of those and thinks we are just 'so darn cute.' Oh, I'm the one on the left with the wonky ear."

"This is us doing one of our 'so darn cute' poses. It get's her every time. She's a total sucker for critter cuteness."

"That is also the pose we use when we have just nibbled the furniture in Bunnyville for the 700th time. But I digress."

"Here are a few of the blocks in 'The Adventures of Harrington and Hannah'."
"Be Sweet to your Honey"

"Good friends weather the storms together."

"Plant seeds of kindess. Water them with hugs and kisses and watch love grow."

"This is what all the blocks look like so far."

"We sell the National Nonwoven wool kits, Valdani 3 strand colorfast Floss kits and the fabric kits in our SHOP. You can join us anytime and the patterns are always FREE."

"We have lots of friends that are stitching along with us and share their photos in our FLICKR group. (see the sidebar) Mama really likes that."

"What about Mama's book Harrington?"

"Oh yes, I almost forgot!"

"Mama invented a quilting method called 'Folk Art Fusion.' She wrote her first book on the method and it's called Briarside Lane. It has ten fun projects in it. Most of which feature critters of some kind."
"Here's what her book looks like. You can find it and kits for the projects in our shop too."

"Ok, that wraps it up. Thank you so very much for joining us today. Thank you very much to all our friends who stitch along with us and support our little business as Mama supports rabbit rescues around the United States with money from sales, and thank you again Snoodles for this wonderful event. We sure did have lots of fun!"

"The End."

xx,
Michelle, Harrington and Hannah

Great work, bunnehs! You two are just too cute, just like all the adorable stuff your mama makes! Now make sure she gives you some extra treats for all your hard work, and tell her Auntie Jade said you can have a party in the poopoo bucket just this once! :)

I wish you were closer to me so that my CB (mini lop) could have a play date with Harrington and Hannah. He'd love that because his dog passed away in March and the cats are too lazy to play with him like Woody did.:-) Most people are surprised to know that the dog and rabbit were best friends. But they loved playing with each other.

We are both excited about Harrington and Hannah's BOM. I think CB feels left out because my sewing and quilting is usually for the grandchildren. I'll let him thing this is for him. LOL
