Happy Friday - Freedom of Home

It sure has been a busy and very fast week. Has it been that way for you too? For most folks here in the US, it's going to be a long Memorial Day weekend. For me it will be a working weekend. When you work for yourself it's just kinda like that.

However, working from home and being my own boss is what I have always wanted to do. It's not easy. I am far from rich, but I am blessed in so many other ways.

I look out my office window and I see Freedom nibbling some grass.

I am surrounded by art and gifts from friends. This is a custom banner I had made for me by Ivonne of The Crackling Crows. I have been wanting one for a while and I saved my pennies to have this  banner made. Isn't it wonderful! I just love it.

And when I climb the stairs to Bunnyville to design some new pieces, I'm always greeted by two adorable little critters that make my heart melt.

Working from home is not easy. Sometimes it's a little lonely, but it is Freedom. This Memorial Day weekend I send heartfelt thanks to all of those who allowed, and continue to allow this beautiful country of ours to remain the land of the free.

Happy Friday!

xx,
Michelle, Harrington and Hannah

I agree with everything you said! I don't have any bunnies to welcome me when I climb the stairs,(in fact, I don't have any stairs!), but the freedom to work at my own pace in my own home in a free country is so precious to me!
Have a great weekend!

How you get any work done with those two adorable assistants of yours, I have no idea. I would have to be constantly stopping what I was doing to scoop them up and snuggle them. Very non-productive, but immensely gratifying.

(Also, this is why it's a good thing we don't live closer--we'd get into way too much mischief to get any kind of work done, especially when there are wild bunnehs in the yard to be *squee*-d over. :D )

Hugs and much love to you and the snugglebuns, and Mr. Mick sends many nose bonks and bunny kisses to his beloved Auntie Shell.

Have a lovely weekend Shell. Here in Melbourne it is very cold and wet. Yesterday we had about a month's worth of rain in one day!

Take a break now and then! Check on the gooses!

(Work at home - what a concept. I must mention it to BL. Nah - I don't think she would get it.)

And we too my dear, had the same visitor come to us just last night, to meet us at the French doors for dinner! A little baby bunnie named ELLIE. She is free to roam but sometimes her mummy CHASES HER!

I long to stay at home to work and I soon will be doing that since I resigned in April. I will carry out my duties until June 8 and then FREEDOM to explore my arts. HAVE A FUN DAY! Anita

Thanks so much for stopping over at my blog to say hello yesterday - I always love it when you hop by :) it immediately makes me think, the bunns need a visit! I would have gotten back to you earlier but I had to wipe my hard drive late yesterday and most of today...all better now though, yay!
Give the bunns a hug for me...

As a slave to two rabbits, I love your very, ahem, "hardworking" assistants. As a person who loves to sew, I LOVE your work! I am looking forward to buying your book and one for my mother, too. I hope it will be wildly succesful.
Do you ever leave treats for the wild Freedom??
Have a fun and safe weekend.

I work in the hospital - 3 12s, but I do my sewing at home, and I work alone as well. I LOVE being alone in my house, but if I need to I can check in on my bloggy friends for company and ideas - the internet is truly unbelievable - ten or fifteen years ago I could not think of sending a note to someone in London, for instance, and having a reply in an hour. Hope you have a creative weekend. Hi to the buns!
