Folk Art Fusion- The Royal Wedding

Told ya I've been busy! Fun busy that is!!
Here is my Folk Art Fusion piece I named "The Royal Wedding." I designed this when Kate and Will got married. I so enjoyed watching the big event on TV. It inspired me to create this piece in my "folky" style.
Here's a close up of the bunnies.

Here's a close up of the flowers, vine and the patchwork border. The wool applique and patchwork border are all hand stitched with Valdani 3 strand floss. I'm so happy with the finished piece. And like I said on Monday, I carry Valdani and wool in my SHOP if you would like to play with some.

Is your week fun so far? Have you done anything creative???

I'm going to start calling you Your Majesty, Queen of Folk Art Fusion! (well we have Sir Harrington and Lady Hannah and now lovely piece, seems appropriate!)xxx
This week I will be mostly: designing patterns and finishing prep for angel doll workshop. Not as funny as my hero Jesse -

Love it Shell! Nothing creative, but Shadow and I have hit the dog park twice this week. Just got back from the second trip, now its nap time!

Its beautiful, shell. The lines are so graceful. As for creative, I've been trying to remember to do a drawing everyday, for Art Every Day Month. Haven't posted about it, but its been fun to pick up the sketchbook again after far too long.

Not much fun so far - but the week is not over yet. More tests at the doctor's today but still not much to report, just info gathering. I do feel better and I think it is all because of the beautiful card I received. Thanks Shell - brightened my day. Judy C

That other comment ended up all about me - sorry - I love the colors of your newest project and the creativity of the Royal Wedding - What fun and your work is beautiful, Shell. Judy C

Beautiful...great colours. Hope the Lord and Lady of the Manor don't get jealous of Prince William and Princess Catherine of Bunny...
Apparently I'm not meant to be creative tonight as my stitchery and floss box have death dived off the couch onto the floor and floss bobbins have taken refuge under the coffee table...I'm taking that as a sign from the universe to give up for the night and visit with bloggy friends instead! *LOL*

I thought of you today. I went to a new shop with loads of wool...it was a rug hooking shop. Have you ever done that before? I was amazed and fell in love and told my husband that I have a new hobby! LOL, it's kind of pricey so it will be a someday hobby! But I pictured a bunny rug and thought of you!
