Finished! Folk Art Fusion

I've been stitching and stitching and stiching all weekend and it's finally finished!
May I introduce my new Folk Art Fusion piece titled "Lady Hannah Goldenhare."

Yes Hannah, mama named it after you cause you're such a pretty bunny! (Don't I have the best models? hee, hee, hee)

Here's a close up of Hannah. In real life she would eat that flower collar in two seconds flat!

Here's a close up of the flowers. Have I told you how much I love wool? Remember, you can buy some in my Webshop if you want to play with some too.
The wool applique and patchwork borders are hand stitched with Valdani 3 strand floss. Love that stuff too!

I'm working on my Folk Art Fusion book. Gosh is this going to take a while to write, but it sure is fun. My goal is to have it done by April. I can't wait to share this technique with all of you!

Have a fun week and do something creative!
xx, Michelle and the Bunnies

A book? Do you think you could send some of your drive and motivation my way?!

Love this Lady Hannah Goldenhare! The pink wool is beautiful...as is this sweet little bunny. She must feel so soft to touch :-)

So very lovely, just like Lady Hannah herself! Love the flower collar (although I can just imagine the battle you'd have trying to put one on the real Hannah).

The quilt is beautiful! Hannah looks a little disgruntled, though. Was the modeling fee insufficient, or not paid in a timely fashion?

It'sreally beautiful . I have never work my apliques with wool, where i live is not that easy to find. That's why i enjoy looking all the things so nice made of wool. Love your bunny!!!

Oh, what a wonderful quilt! I just love it, and it makes me miss my mini lops. I have lots of Rabbit Paw blocks to assemble into a top, and there may have to be bunnies and brambles in the borders.

Shell... love the bunny. But where is the star on her nose? Surely it can't be Lady Hannah with out a star kissed nose? Maybe you could embroider one on for her??
