Work'in on it Wednesday and a new BFF!

I have been working like crazy getting ready for my Folk Art Fusion Workshop that I'll be teaching on September 24th for the Craven Arts Festival. It will be a full day workshop in which my students will learn my Folk Art Fusion technique and make an 8" x 8" project.

The students will receive all three of these patterns, but will choose one to make in class.

                      The Tree

                       The Star

                       The Heart

I'm really looking forward to teaching this and hope to travel around to quilt guilds to give lectures and teach more workshops. If you are one of my local friends, or if you are close to New Bern, NC, and would like to take my workshop, you can CLICK HERE to find out more and download the workshop registration. I would love to see you! Which design would you choose to make?

I have also been playing around with more felt and floss pairings. I must say it's rather addictive!
This is the BFF (bundle of fun felt) for this week!
Here is the BFF with the Valdani 3 strand floss Pairing. Yummy don't ya think?

Both are available in my SHOP if you want to get your creative little hands on them!

Don't forget to scroll down and register for my 800 follower giveaway! Woo hoo! Reading all your comments has been so much fun! Thanks a million!

Hugs to you!

Great minds think alike--I'm using almost exactly the same colors in a baby blanket I'm making from extra yarn I had on hand. I'll be putting the pics up on FB sometime on Saturday (it's a surprise baby shower gift for my cousin, so I don't want her to possibly see it beforehand)

Hope the patterns will be available in your shop eventually as they are gorgeous, especially the tree - unfortunately Australia is too far away! Gillian

Love the tree and the star. Ok the heart too. Will there be patterns available at your shop and will there be a lovely wool and floss pairing available". I'd need all of the above because I'm not even into wool but this would push me over the edge.
