Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival tour continues

Happy Friday everybun! Are you having fun on the tour?  I decided to give Sugie and Harrington a break from their duties today seeing as I have quilts with bunnies and other critters!!  Let's go!

I don't even need to say why I love this. ;)

Look how fuzzy the bunnies are!!

I'm not sure who made this. I thought I got a photo of the tag, but I can't find it. Look how incredible the butterfly is!

This next series is by artist Barbara Barrick McKie. I stood and admired her work for a long time. I'm more of a traditional quilter, but I tend to be drawn towards things I have never made or don't know how to make. I find them fascinating. Her work was indeed fascinating and truly beautiful. The decorator in me wanted to decorate a city loft with her works. Oh how fabulous that would be!

Helloooooooooooo fabulous! She transfers photos onto fabric, manipulates the photos, makes her fabric and then stitches to add depth and dimension. Oh...my....gosh!!!!!

Ok, so this one did remind me of my squirrel bite in August. I still rub my finger when I see a squirrel and I still have a knot under the skin with teeth marks! hee, hee, hee.

Happy Friday everybun! I hope you are enjoying the tour and are being inspired! I have a few more tomorrow and Sunday.

xx, shell, sugie and harrington
