Monday on Sunday Meeting - Jo of Lilly Pilly

Good morning staff! Happy Halloween to those of you that partake of the sugary festivities. I'm doing my Monday meeting today as tomorrow is the next block in A Sentimental Journey and the giveaway and I didn't want to take away from my featured friend. So without delay, let's get this meeting started.

This week I am delighted to introduce you to my friend Jo of Lilly Pilly. Like many of my new friends, she and I met through this wonderful world of blogging. Jo lives in Tasmania, Australia and works in engineering as a Civil Designer, but she also quilts and has designed stitcheries. I find it so cool when I meet people that are gifted on both sides of their brain! Let's just say that I am better at coloring than math. hee, hee, hee.

Jo has been working on a secret project that has now been sent to it's destination and will be revealed later on. She has been giving little sneaky peeks of some of the blocks.

This one is one of her favorites.

I love this one. You know me and my cute cottage obsession!

She also designed some stitcheries. Fun and charming. I love them!

As we here in the USA are steadily heading towards winter, our Aussie friends are moving into Summer. Jo posted that winter had a hard time leaving this year and they had an arctic blast. She and her coworkers went outside and collected some snow. Jo brought some snow back into the office and created this.

Well ya know I love the Snow Bunny! Too cute!

Hop over and visit with Jo. I know you will enjoy meeting her. Tell her Shell and the bunnies said hi!
Have a wonderful Sunday, a very fun Halloween and don't forget to come back tomorrow for the new block and giveaway!

Meeting adjourned.

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Chirstmas. A White Christmas that is!

Ok..so like I'm totally getting nutso excited about putting up my Christmas tree this year!!! Last year, after Christmas, I purchased a Martha Stewart white Christmas tree!!! Is it wrong that I wanted to put it up right away and leave it up all year???? I mean it's white and totally matches everything I own!!! I can hardly wait to show you.

In the meantime though, I have been working like crazy getting ready for the show after Thanksgiving. I've designed my booth layout and have been fine tuning the details. Don't ya just love my business card holder? Isn't he a smashingly smart looking fella?! He was a dark brown and you know what  I  um, David did...white spray paint.

This is the first time I have done a show of this size. I'm a tad bit nervous and I don't want to show up looking like a country bumkin. Although..... I will be wearing my hat....

Maybe they'll think I'm just missing a few marbles instead. Yeah...that'll work. hee, hee, hee.

If ya'll have been following me for a while, then you know "White is my Signature color." Everything in my booth will be white. There will be little hints of grey here and there, but for the most part it will be white because, hey, that's who I am and I believe white goes with everything and everyone can decorate with white even if it's only little bits here and there. Calm, Clean, Serene.

These are the quilted tree pillows I was telling ya about.

They are foundation pieced and then quilted with a fancy stitch. When you love white and decorate with all white, it's all about adding texture. The different tone on tone patterns of white as well as the stitching give the texture. I drew the pattern myself as I wanted a cute little accent pillow. These look great on a bed, a chair, or even sitting on a shelf to bring a little holiday cheer. The jingle bells add just a touch of fun. I made six of them and enjoyed every single minute.

Well, gotta get back to work. I'll show you my wishing stars very soon!
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas! Sing it with me!

Somebunny's been naughty...Again!

Daddy said, "if somebunny doesn't stop hoping on the furniture and redecorating the buttons on the cushion, then that somebunny might just find himself in the yard sale next weekend."

Uhh... umm... oh...well...who...where...what happened?

I'm so tired.

Ya'll ever have one of those weeks when all you feel like doing is this?

This is my six year old niece, Noelle, just hanging out when she visited with us in July. I feel like doing the same thing and watching some mindless TV show.

Too much work to do though, so I better get one of these. Grande breve latte...helloooooooo my friend....  :)

Jingle and Belle. Keepers of Holiday Spirits and Believers in Regifting

Jingle and Belle met at a party and have been the keepers of holiday spirits ever since. They spread love and joy and dress up every bottle with with sparkly fun! Each white bag has a drawstring pull and two fun jingle bells. Jingle and Belle also believe they should be passed on and on and shared with others instead of ending up in a landfil. Sometimes regifting is a really good thing. ;)

There are five bags available in my Shop. The others will go to the show with me in November. Now...on to other projects.

Have a fun day!

She rearranges the bookshelf...again

Ok. ok...what can I say. I'm getting hooked on all this grey stuff. I've added a few things here and there. Not too much as white is still my signature color.

I rearranged the bookshelves again and added some stone accessories here and there. I'm also getting geared up for a yard sale at the end of the month and I cleaned everything while I was at it so that was a good thing. Of course, all of this took place before my marathon sewing gig. Remember the song 99 bottles of beer on the wall? Well replace beer with wine bags and there ya have it!!! Oy!
I'll leave you with pictures of my newly rearranged areas. I'm very happy with them. Calm, clean and serene.

Yes, I still have to get rid of those horrible lamp cords, but it's not on the priority list right now. Wine bags...wine bags...wine bags...
Another thing on the to do list is get rid of those awful brass strips on the fireplace. Back in 2001 there were in style. Now...the look terrible. David...break out the black spray paint!! ;)

Monday Meeting - Natascha Rieper

Good morning staff. How is everyone today? Is it me or are the weeks flying by faster and faster? Good grief! I always thought things would slow down when I worked from home. NOT! They're just more fun. ;)

Let's get our meeting started.

Today, I am delighted to introduce you to my new friend, fellow bunny owner/critter lover, incredible artist and new blogger, Natascha Rieper. Natascha and I were brought together by our love of bunnies. She not only loves bunnies, but she loves lots of critters. She has a horse, a bird and a cat too!

Then I found out that she is an incredible artist! This is a painting she did of her bunnies, Giddy and Baxter. Is this not incredible?!?

Next, she sent me photos of the condo she designed and painted for Giddy. Hello HGTV! Is this fabulous or what?!?! What a lucky boy to have such a posh place to hang out! He also has free range of her studio when she's home and also goes downstairs to be with the rest of the family for TV time. Giddy you are such a handsome boy. Auntie Shell wants to smoochie that face!

Baxter bunny passed away and she has recently adopted Gwenie from a rescue. What a beautiful girl she is. Gwenie and Giddy are still going through the "bonding" phase, which as we all know can take some time. Giddy is all for it, but Gwenie is playing hard to get.

However, Gwenie is rather fond of Tazzer's the cat. Tazzer's was adopted from a shelter and is such a lovey. I think this picture is so precious. Cat's and Rabbits are very clean animals. They groom themselves constantly. Bunnies normally groom each other, so to see Tazzers grooming Gwenie is priceless.

Not only does Natascha paint, but she also makes beautiful pottery and she made this incredible Santa! She sculpted the face, made the body and made all the clothes. Magical!

I encouraged Natascha to start a blog as I felt she had so much to share and was such a beautiful person. I'm so glad she took my advice and started blogging. I look forward to following her adventures. I do hope you will hop over and visit with her. Tell her Shell and the bunnies said hi.

Ya'll have a wonderful and magical week. Keep a smile on your face, your face to the sun, and know that you're special and you're loved. I'm so glad you can be here with me!

Meeting adjourned.

Dreaming in shades of Grey and White

Most of you know how much I adore, love, and am totally crazy about white. Still reall love it and always will. But lately I'm also loving shades of grey mixed in. The soft, steel, muted shades of grey are just so fabulous. Greys are showing up all over the decorating community too.

I've been collecting some fabrics to work with. I have big plans.

I've also been making a bunch of these for my booth. They're almost finished. I can't wait to show you.  Cut, sew, press, repeat. Cut, sew, press, repeat. Got 40 to make. Oy....

I just couldn't help myself. I had to get it.

Ya'll ever get something in your head and you can't quit thinking about it?

It seems like forever that I have been thinking about a hat. Not just any hat, but a hat that I could wear when I do art shows. Not that one needs a hat to participate in an art show, but with a goofy personality like mine, a hat just kinda fits.

So in my little o'l pea brain, I invisioned a top hat. A velvety top hat with a fun shape. Of course, it would have to be kid size to fit me. Then...

it would need bunny ears! I mean you can't be the owner of The Raspberry Rabbits and make rabbit art without having a hat with bunny ears! It would be wrong on so many levels. hee, hee, hee. (that saying cracks me up!)

Well, things have a way of coming to me when I think about them a lot. Low and behold, the perfect hat to wear in my booth. I got it from a costume place that had Alice in Wonderland stuff. Too cool!

David thinks I'm an incredible dorkwad and is debating whether or not he is going to be seen with me help me, at the show if I wear this hat.

But then, he did say I look pretty cute, so I'm guessing he'll get over the embarrassment and just run with it. After all, being married to a crazy bunny lady is rather fun. Besides, he know's I just couldn't help myself and I had to get it.

Have a fun day and don't forget to sign up for the giveaway this Friday!! Sign up Here!

Monday Meeting - Debora Hoffmann of New Avenue Crew

Good morning staff. Did everyone have a lovely weekend? We're still drying out from all the rain we had here. Over 20 inches. Crazy I tell ya! All is well though and the yard and plants are totally happy!

On to the meeting.

This week I'm very happy to introduce you to a new friend of mine, the lovely, Debora Hoffmann, of New Avenue Crew!

Debora is a Teddy Bear Artist and creates some of the most adorable fuzzy little friends.

This is Borealis. Ya'll know why I love him (white).

This is Pumphrey the Clown. He's available for adoption now! Cutie isn't he? He's ready to dance his way into your heart and bring you lots of smiles every day!

Speaking of adoption, Debora is also the adoptive mom of two beautiful teenage daughters from the Ukraine! She and her husband adopted a teenage girl and her best friend and gave them both a loving home. Wonderful, big hearted, loving, people in my book!

Debora is a participating artist in the upcoming Teddies Worldwide online show. She's working hard to get ready and I know she will have many wonderful new friends for us to meet and adopt into our hearts.

Hop over and visit with Debora. Tell her Shell and the bunnies said hi!

Have a wonderful and magical week!
Meeting adjourned.

Lady Hannah Goldenhare - Nothing Gold Can Stay

Hello dear friends, It's been a minute hasn't it? My last post was over a year ago. I decided I wanted to stay in my bubble where it...
