A Sentimental Journey Through the Months - Block 9 and a Giveaway!

Yipee! September! I absolutely love September. It's my favorite month in the whole year. Actually, I really love September through December. So many things to look forward to and all the hot, humid, sticky air gone. Time to get out the stitching and quilting and get to creating!

Here is this month's block. Life really is about creating yourself. I truly believe you can be anything you want to be and create the life you want to have. Just believe in yourself and surround yourself with people that believe in you. Hop over to My Shop and get your pattern. Oh, I'm also carrying the Fusible Fleece again. I had several people ask about it. I sell it in 36" x 45" pieces. That's enough to do a bunch of stitchery projects!

The floss I used this month is Valdani's P3, Aged White Medium. I also used it in another project that I hope to show you this weekend. (I'm praying that Hurricane Earl decides to swerve back out to sea and miss us).

I decided since so many of you commented on my Tea at 3 with Mr. Biscotti Bunny, that this month I would give away a box of my favorite Stash fushion tea, a box of my favorite biscotti's and a wonderful book on cute cottages! How's that for a fun giveaway! All you have to do to enter is leave a comment. Remember, if you are signed up as a Friend/Follower, (sign up on my sidebar) your name goes in the hat twice! I will pick the winner on September 8th.
Also, one final request. Please let me know if you have enjoyed this Sentimental Journey so far and if you are interested in another FREE BOM stitchery project for next year. I have a great idea, but I don't want to spend the time designing and stitching it if you've already got too much on your plate. So let me know. Thanks!

I'm praying that Hurricane Earl will go away too!

Like you my favorite time of year is September through December too. I can't wait for the leaves to change and to feel that cold crisp in the air.

Your stitchery is absolutely beautiful! What a lovely gift to give. I've always wanted to learn how to do this. Maybe now, since I have some time, I can take up a class. It's an absolutely beautiful art to do. I love all the positive words. Lovely and thoughtful giveaway! Hope your having a lovely week so far! Thanks again! :)

Hi Shell, I love your stitchery and just wish I had all the time to do what I want. I have to two blocks left on my quilt and the top will be done. Have a great holiday weekend. I am off until Tuesday from work and would you believe we are going to get in the 40's tonight. It is crazy. Your Missouri Friend.

Oh! This is the BOM I mentioned in my other comment, I couldn't remember what you had called it. Sentimental Journey is just beautiful, and I will definitely be stitching each BOM, and I think I would like to make it into a wall hanging for my new home, something that people see when they enter, as it is just stunning! I would looove you to design another something special - I just adore doing stitchery, as well as quilting. Hope to see more of your wonderful creations in the future. Hugs & Blessings, Sue.
