A Sentimental Journey Block 5, Dreams, Friends and a Little Faith

Here we go! May already! Can you believe it??? This month my Sentiment is about Dreams. Since I'm embarking on a new chapter in my life (scroll down to Thursday's post if you missed it), I thought this was the perfect quote to start with.

Click here or on the link on my sidebar to take you to my website to collect your free stitchery.

I decided to make something for this months giveaway because my friends always make my life so wonderful and always bring me so much happiness. I'm truly blessed to be surrounded by incredible people in real life and in blogland. This stitchery was created for you!

Then I thought about how much bunnies mean to me and how much joy they bring to my life. In fact, today I am volunteering at the Cape Fear House Rabbit Society "bunny booth" at Paw Jam in Wilmington NC. I wanted to start off my new life doing something that is meaningful and at the same time makes me so happy!

So this is Faith. Isn't she just the cutest thing!?? She is Franklin's (from last months giveaway) little friend. I thought she was perfect for this month's giveaway as I will just have a little "Faith" that all will be well in the next chapter of my life as I follow my bliss. The bunnies will play a big part in it.

Ok...so all you have to do to register is leave a comment on This post. If you sign up to become a follower, (look at my sidebar on the left) you are counted twice. If you are a follower, you are counted twice. If you bring a friend and they become a follower, you will get counted again! That would be 3 times! So please be sure and say "I'm following" in your comment and if your friend becomes a follower, make sure they give you the credit by putting your name in the comment. This makes it easier for me to count! Remember, I don't like math! hee, hee, hee.

I will pick the winner on Sunday, May 9th, Mothers Day! Good Luck!

Huge hugs Michelle... I'm sure you will have a whole lot of new journey's and dreams in this next chapter. It can be scary but oh so fulfilling too. Sometimes it's just that little push needed to begin the new journey. I'm sure those dreams will include stitching and quilting... your patterns are beautiful - keep pursuing that dream too!

ps: you can come to Australia anytime and redecorate my home... all those pictures are just GORGEOUS!!! Thank you for becoming a new friend in my life... it's always a pleasure to have such friends no matter where they live in the world.

take care... have a wonderful day filled with creativity & inspiration

Shell, that is the perfect sentiment for May! It is such an expectant month, what with new gardens, graduations, wedding plans, and of course, for you personally. This will be a good one to think on while stitching.
And yes, I'm following.

Lovely giveaway Michelle. I signed up to be a follower but I was already a subscriber so I don't miss a thing. I know that some wonderful opportunity will come your way and you will be happier than you were at your old job. Sounded like a stressful environment to me. All the kindness you show to others (giveaways!) will certainly bring good things your way.

Hi Shell, I hope that things work for you exactly the way you want them to be and that you do what you love.

I also just wanted to say that I love your home. You have completed your home and I am still in the process. I am de-cluttering and simplifing my home but it is a work in progress. You give me hope as to what it will eventually look like.

Take care and enjoy the wine, Maureen

Took me a bit to catch up! My goodness!
Turn the page and begin that new chapter, Shell.

I love the "hint of blue" post. And the BOM stitchery today is lovely. The "friends" stitchery would be perfect in my home as I am a "green" person. Franklin's little friend Faith would be a bonus.

I'm a follower, too.

Already following, so now I'm commenting. Love the bunny stitchery--I've done embroidery, but I'm not very good at it. I'm more of a needlepoint person myself, and I do have bunny needlepoint that I've done (which I'll be showing off in my blog sometime soon). I just wish I could find more needlepoint patterns that are rabbit-related.

Your stitchery is so pretty and I love the designs that you make. I would love to win Faith to go with her friend Franklin, who sits on a table close to my work station. I have a spot I would like to put him outside, but I am afraid someone would steal him, so I keep him close. I keep you in my thoughts and keep hoping for that new job for you will arrive just when you want it to most. Have a wonderful week. Your Missouri Friend.

I love the quote on block 5!
I was always dreaming about what I wanted to do " one day ", dreaming of having more time for family, to quilt, stitch, read, spending more time with my 3 dogs, gardening, to do all the things I love, so after working for 28 years, I took a leap of faith and I've never looked back. Life is great!
Faith is sooooo cute, I love her!

Oh yes, been following a while!
