A Friendly Reminder

Since my assistants are much to busy in the break room having a snack and chatting around the water cooler, I will take it upon myself to remind you that tomorrow the new BOM stitchery pattern will be out and there will also be a fabulous giveaway here. So please do hop back and register to win and collect your next stitchery pattern.

It really is hard to find good help. On the other hand, cute help that you can kiss and they won't file harassment charges against you is hard to find too! hee, hee, hee.

See you tomorrow,
Michelle

Aren't they the best assistants? My Jersey Wooley helped me get my BS degree. I love the way the push their little heads together ;)

Do you ever wonder if they might get their heads stuck, trying to get them into the dish at the same time? Sometimes I think this might happen to Ginny and Weasley!

Here's a particular "poem for the day" for you in your new phase!

The Summer Day
by Mary Oliver

Who made the world?
Who made the swan, and the black bear?
Who made the grasshopper?
This grasshopper, I mean-
the one who has flung herself out of the grass,
the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,
who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down-
who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.
Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.
Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.
I don't know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?

Very cute. You are so creative. Mine share the water too. My boy bunny grabs the carrots runs to the other side of the pen behind thier house and hides it. Then goes back for pellets. He is very greedy where his carrots are concerned!I'll be off for a few days we are moving but I hope you have a great weekend. See you soon.
